Telstra Exhibition St — Local services in Melbourne

WARNING: After waiting 15 minutes, the person I met put me in a virtual queue and told me it would take 45 minutes to be served. After 1 hour and 50 minutes approximately I met with a telstra rep who then gave me a phone number to followup Netgear support about a faulty device this store sold me.

Now I am chaing around couriers and netgear support myself and I will not have the device for weeks (months maybe?) until it is repaired. If Netgear declines to repair the device, I am on my own. The device is 10 months old and faulty - this should have been handled by Telstra, I don't need a second job handling Telstra's faulty devices.

Went to that shop in particular because of the Google reviews. Amazing customer service from Amorette. Had been pulling my hair out trying to arrange moving onto a new online only plan with Telstra online, with no success. Walked in, and walked out literally 4 minutes later on the new plan and a new SIM, with my service transferred over 5 minutes after that (even though shops arent meant to assist with online only plans) Such good service, you wouldn't believe...

Comically inept at billing.

Over a three year period they have screwed up on multiple occasions.

So, No Telstra, I don't want to visit your store multiple times to try and fix a problem you've made. No, I don't want to spend hours on the phone sorting your billing errors. No, I don't want to pay your dodgy premium-SMS fees I didn't subscribe to. No, I don't want to find that you can't handle a change of plan and want to bill me extra for your screw up....
