First Parking | 59 Lonsdale Street Car Park — Local services in Melbourne

So I go to collect my car today and the screen of the ticket machine is scrambled, the other one was half out of its encasing with circuit boards exposed and 2 machines completely off... I only had cash with me (unfortunately its a cashless world now) I press the call help button and because the computers at the womans help desk say they are fine... that means I'm lying to the point I was trying to get strangers passing by to verify to the lady the machines were out of order she then went quiet and ignored me numerous times... I took photos and asked for an email address or somewhere I could send them to show proof to which she said there wasn't a place to send them finally after asking to speak with her manager she said go to the boom gate where she told me to present my ticket there (because she had believed I lost it and was after a free park) she refused to accept the fact I only had cash with me I was left waiting at the boom gate for some time .. i asked her clonstantly if I could speak to a manager or if there was someone on duty and she rejected every request if somebody from their department could please send me the email address of where I can send the photos it would be much appreciated..it was the most disgraceful customer service I have ever received.. this is what you get for pressing the help button at...

Best carpark for Her Majestys Theatre by far and away. I couldn't recommend it more.

I love the ability to register your car online and just be able to drive in and drive out. No need for a ticket, no need for an app, no need to carry cash or card.

I must say - I dont often leave reviews, especially for carparks. However, i have used this carpark before and after the new owners have taken over. The difference is night and day.

The carpark before was awful, we wandered for a long time with my elderly parents trying to find a lift. The payment experience glitched on the way out.

As noted in the reviews from others, this carpark now has new owners. They have done a very good job renovating the car-park, the lifts are now very easy to find with signage, they've added paint and carpet. All nice little touches.

Took 20mins and some team work with the drivers of the cars in front to get in. Very very narrow ramps once you get in, which is to be expected for city car parks. The worst part came when we exited. The line of cars to get out ended at level 6, the top level of the carpark where we parked. It took 10mins to move half a level down. There were cars waiting to pull out of the car parks but could not as there was no space in a line so dense. With feelings of anxiety and claustrophobia coming on, inhaling petrol fumes and just no end in sight, we parked the car and cancelled our plans for the rest of the night. We walked down to stairs to see very frustrated and agitated drivers on the phone to customer service. We came back in 30mins to find no cars in line and both boom gates for the exit broken! We were free!!!!! We survived 59...
