The Commons QV — Local services in Melbourne

Fantastic space at competitive prices. We hired a large room for the day and it worked well for us all.

We enquired as to how much a permanent office would be. At 5pm we all grabbed a beer and sat in the lounge. We decided that we'd give this place a trial for a month and if things went well it would become out new permanent home.

The Commons QV staff were setting up a beer tasting event and put glasses and beer cans on the table.

A young lady staff member came over and explained that the beer tasting was for members only and that we wouldn't be able to join in. She was very polite and was just letting us know about the policy.

Then our boss walks in unwittingly grabs a beer and glass off the table and sits with us. The young lady staff member comes over and politely says sorry but the beer cans are for the members. No worries, the boss gets a beer from the tap.

Then our sales and marketing lady (sitting with us, who had made the enquiry about taking an office monthly) said she wasn't impressed by Commons QV customer care. We decided the young lady obviously wasn't on any incentive to get new offices rented out

So we're about to leave and the same young lady staff member came over and again very politely informed us that it was policy that non-members need to leave when staff leave - which was soon.

That was enough for us to agree we didn't want to rent an office monthly here. Slightly over zealous starchy inflexible rules for us.

I'd like to point out that the young lady staff member did a great job of informing us very very politely of all of the rules. I don't think she did anything wrong.

Management might like to think again about how prospective customers are looked after.

Fix that and it's a 5 star space....

I’ve worked from a lot of coworking spaces, but The Commons QV truly stands above the rest.

The staff are simply amazing – always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The workspace itself is spotless, everything works exactly as it should, and it’s by far the easiest location to get to in Melbourne.

In a world where coworking is highly competitive, The Commons QV has created something special. Even though I have many options available to me, I always come back here.

If you’re a small business owner, it just makes sense – the setting here makes it easier to do your best work. Personally, I can say I’m doing some of the best work of my life thanks in part to the environment at The Commons...

My absolute favourite office in Melbourne. Love working out of The Commons and of all their amazing sites this is my personal favourite. I've had so many memories here, met so many people who become clients, friends and collaborators and I also use this site to run events for various clients of mine.

It's dog friendly and they have such an amazing staff. Thanks Jess, Shannon & Ella for all the good vibes and looking forward to...
