Kevin’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

This is not to the workers but the owner of this place is so mean. This guy scams you from your money by making his meals you pay good money for and urging his workers in a very rude tone to fill it up so it's 90% rice and 10% actual food that doesn't even taste good.

The poor people who work for him are incredibly visibly nervous whenever he is around and publically yells at and swears at his workers. Literally just today seen him yelling and screaming at this young boy who was working for him.

Whenever the owner is around the workers take out the actual food in front of you just to replace it with tons of rice, they rush to do this because they are scared of him and it's so sad. They need to get someone to investigate this place because the treatment of this guy's workers...

Kevin's kitchen is okay. I used to really enjoy their food but the ball has dropped. Nothing too wowsers for me and their menu is rather overpriced now. I asked for chilli beef, flat rice noodles with no vegetables and they charged me an extra two dollars to make it without vegies. What was supposed to be a cheap lunch turned into a $20 meal - where there were only seven pieces of beef in the whole thing.. And then they asked me to put chilli sauce ontop of it instead of the beef being spicy. If you want good Chinese food in warners bay, I suggest you go over to lims...

we have been coming there for many years and it’s always been lovely, brought 2 dim sims the other day, as i bit into the dim sim there was a hard rubbery ingredient in there that i couldn’t eat, called into the restaurant today to enquire what was in my dim sim and the Kevin told me it was pork mince and cabbage, i find this hard to believe. after approaching Kevin he fogged me off with the reply “try a spring roll next time” i am utterly disgusted in the lack of understanding and will never attend your kitchen...
