The bag inspectionin this shop is over the top, very frequent and uncomfortable. It is understandable that somebody that behaves oddly o is opening and closing a bag inside the shop may give the stuff reason to suspect shoplifting, and it is necessary to ensure that this does not happen. But in this shop you are under suspicion just for carrying your bag even if you shop there regularly, and without once accessing your bag inside the shop. The stuff ask to show bag laud enough that the client is signalled out in front of the other customers. Checking somebody's bag interfere with their privacy, as they may carry intimate stuff that they don't need to share with the world and even less with the nosy stuff. So it is good judgement to ensure that you have a legitimate reason to look inside somebody's bag. The experience makes people uncomfortable and is totally undeserved, as the majority of their clients are office workers with very little time and options for their lunches. Read moreWhile I was paying for my groceries at the self-checkout counter, a staff member asked to check my bag. I noticed that I was the only customer singled out for this treatment, while others were not asked. I ask that you review how your staff approach customers in these situations. Bag checks should be conducted respectfully and with clear justification, not in a way that makes loyal customers feel accused of theft.
I hope you take this feedback seriously so that no other customers are made to feel...
Read moreTerrible customer experience. Shelves are often out of stock. Staff will mow you down with their cages if you happen to be in their path. The opening times change, one time I arrived in the morning and they were still getting ready so they came out to tell me the sign with opening times was wrong. I bought an individual onion, but they had the price label incorrect, when I asked them, they said someone put the wrong label up, so they swapped it back and didn't bother apologising. There's a very abrasive staff member who raises his voice at you if you don't lie your bottles down on the conveyer belt and when he requests to check your bag, his tone is very accusational. They are very understaffed with the self checkouts being monitored by the same person serving at the normal registers. The parking is awkward street parking if you...
