Visited The Terrace last Saturday for lunch and a drink. I had salt & pepper calamari with chips . Which was a huge serving and cooked to perfection & modestly priced .
We then walked out onto the smoking verandah for a cigarette & glass of Chardonay. This has to be the best smoking lounge in Sydney because it is large with lots of tables and ash trays NOT a cramped little corner . So refreshing to visit a hotel where patrons who smoke are treated with respect. There was a nice street view to gaze out upon also.
Furthermore the house Chardonay was a delicious vintage . All this plus service with a smile from bar staff .The Terrace is one of the best pubs on the lower North Shore. It is well worth a visit .
P.s it is located near The Victoria Cross metro station hence you can travel quickly to the Terrace from where ever you...
Read moreMy husband is scottish so ventured out to be entertained on Saturday night. The music was good however celtic traditional would be a better way to describe it not so much scottish but entertaining. However the food was somewhat disappointing chicken scnitty good but would have preferred mash and veg as sides during winter....and the huge bowl of spaghetti with prawns was over the top with chilli and delivered only three prawns...far too much pasta and far too much chilli and three prawns. Truly disappointing to say the least. Will return for music...

This was my first try with my office folks so will give another shot to the bar/drinks area but will hold back on...
