A northern shore of Sydney Harbour, in the suburb of Lavender Bay, New South Wales known for its scenic views, relaxing atmosphere, and its proximity to some of Sydney's most iconic landmarks, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. It offers fantastic views across Sydney Harbour, especially of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists who want to take in the sights without the hustle and bustle of more crowded areas like Circular Quay. The area itself is rich in history and was once part of the land used for shipbuilding during Sydney’s early settlement. The park itself was developed in recent decades and is now a serene and attractive space that celebrates both the natural beauty and the history of the area. It is close to other popular spots like Wendy’s Secret Garden, a charming public garden created by artist Wendy Whitely, which is located right next to the park. It’s also a short walk from Milsons Point, home to North Sydney’s lively shops and cafes. The park itself is perfect for a relaxed day out. It has ample green space for picnics, some lovely walking paths, and benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s a family-friendly location and also a favourite of dog owners for a peaceful stroll. Well connected by public transport, with trains stopping at nearby Milsons Point Station and ferries servicing the area. It's also an easy walk from the bustling North Sydney area. While it is close to the more tourist-heavy areas of Sydney, it’s often quieter, making it a peaceful retreat for those looking to enjoy the harbour views without large crowds. except the New Year Eve. One of the best and memorable place for me.

Lavender Bay is a hidden gem located in Sydney, Australia. It is a small, peaceful suburb situated just north of the Sydney CBD, and is known for its stunning views and beautiful surroundings. One of the best things about Lavender Bay is its breathtaking views of the harbor and the city skyline. The suburb is home to a number of vantage points that offer panoramic views of the harbor, including the Lavender Bay foreshore walk and the Milsons Point lookout. These views are especially breathtaking at sunset, when the city skyline is bathed in a golden glow. In addition to its stunning views, Lavender Bay is also home to a number of charming parks and gardens, including the Wendy Whiteley Secret Garden. This hidden oasis is a must-visit for anyone who loves gardens and nature, and is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, Lavender Bay is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves stunning views and peaceful surroundings. It is a hidden gem in the heart of Sydney, and is sure to impress anyone who visits.

The suburb of lavender Bay takes its name from Lavender Bay, a natural feature of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) immediately west of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It lies between Milsons Point and McMahons Point. The suburb North Sydney is located, to the north. Lavender Bay is a residential suburb with expansive views of Sydney Harbour. Short walk to blues Point and Manmohan Point and Wendy's secret garden and Luna Park. There are a number of parks here

I try not to miss these two events which happen here.

Miller Street markets 2nd Sat (8am-2pm) each month except Jan

They tend to have themes from festivals from around the world. The themes that I dearly remember are the Bastille Day, Diwali and the Italian theme...

I love browsing through the flea market and the pop-up shops as well. The live music played there is really underrated. I have heard many talented guys/girls performing there.

Produce Markets 3rd Sat each...
