I have been a customer of this place for many many years although I am not Korean myself. I do not shop at any other Korean Grocer, until now. The lady at the counter is always nice and respectful. However last week I had a very unpleasant experience that made me realise that it is time I go and spend my money elsewhere. I dropped in here last week for quick look and while going into this shop I notice a tray full of large apples. I picked one up and put it in a plastic bag from the roll of plastic bags that I saw next to it and went inside the shop to continue my shopping. The male individual that I have often see stacking the shelves who I assumed to be the owner, who I might add always looks like he is about to kill someone, abruptly approached me and snatched the bag that contained the apple off my hand and yelled " whole tray only" and walked away. I was stunned and said I am sorry I didn't know. The writing over the box was in Korean and I don't speak or read Korean. Obviously they don't cater to non Korean speaking people. I decided there and then never to go there again. Maybe they should put a board outside saying "Korean Speaking People Only". What a rude and unpleasant experience. That man should learn how to communicate with a human being in a civil way and not behave like a wild animal....

This shop opens during COVID pandemic and I was able to get some ingredients for homemade Korean dishes, while dining out has been not allowed nowadays in NSW.
Thanks for the owner and staffs in this store who have yet lost to welcoming with their smiles. Hope small business continue and survive during these tough era.
