ACCUSE CUSTOMERS OF SHOPLIFTING FOR USING A TESTER
I am absolutely shocked that after testing a dry shampoo to ensure it did not react badly with my scalp (have had a bad experience in the past) the security guard came over and told me i had to pay for it as I had tried it. I was still in the aisle looking at the other options and had not even moved a foot, so how could he know I wasn't going to buy one. I pointed this out and asked why is there a tester if you aren't allowed to test the product. What followed was an incredibly rude response of 'you must buy it!' I asked to speak with the manager who had hidden herself in the back of the prescriptions are following hearing the outburst and me asking to speak with the manager. The security guard refused to get the manager for me (so had to ask another member of staff, cowardly if you ask me) and then wouldn't give me his name. Manager just looked at me blankly and had nothing to say. Outraged that you use security and train staff to consider people shoplifting when using a tester that you put on the shelves. not to mention with no cap on the bottle to even test in the cap. I have felt so incriminated which is a shocking way to treat your...
Read moreI've always loved Chemist Warehouse due to its wide range of products and amazing prices. But this particular store is a turn off!
One of the guys (slim, Asian-looking, "gayish voice") behind the script counter is VERY VERY rude and speaks to customers like they are idiots and uneducated. Remember me mate, I asked for a Ventolin and I didn't know Ventolin is a brand that Salbutamol is actually the generic -- I've used Ventolin since forever so I had no idea there's generic, no reason to speak to me like I'm a halfwit. I'm a teacher not a chemist who hasn't acquired "your pharmaceutical" degree. That's not customer service - that's coming in for the wage. Look for another job that makes you happy.
On the other hand one of the guys (tall, Chinese-looking) in the isles, despite not allowing me not to test the sunscreens, offered help in looking for a sunscreen that might suit my requirements. That's customer service.
Apologies for having to mention gender and ethnicity this is the only way I can describe them. I wish i had remembered their names but i couldn't. This is for your reference,...
Read morethe staff at this chemist warehouse are by the far the rudest staff at a store that i’ve come across. the girl who served me has no concept of customer service she has the most sarcastic and disrespectful tone and honestly the way she spoke to me i won’t be returning to your store. i would’ve gone somewhere else but priceline was closed. i usually go to priceline and from now on i will be going there as the staff there are amazing and kind and very friendly and helpful. your staff could learn from them. i don’t usually post negative reviews but this interaction was repulsive. do better.oh and i need to add how the male security guard made me feel like a criminal when i have never stolen anything in my whole life. and i’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to touch a persons belongings but he had his hand on my bag. my nah contained my charger and my work clothes and my inhaler for asthma. i’m pretty disgusted. he needs to learn how to check...
