It is Monday and at lunch time you can not find a spot here thatās how popular the place is . Waiters are fantastic , They can quickly set you up take the orders and serve the food in next 15 minutes. If you donāt have idea, what are you gonna eat today? Ask them they will give you the best recommendation.. Dish portion is huge. Please do not order too much and make sure you have rooms for dessert. We are 5 people ,had spaghetti, risotto, pizza, and a steak sandwich. Make sure you tell the waiter how you want your risotto and spaghetti and steak be cooked cause if donāt tell them they will bring you the traditional Italian way Each dishes are delicious and significant iconic. I cannot tell which one is the best so I recommend you guys have a group lunch and can share with each other. We didnāt have wine cause we need to work. (O sad ).This is the hurting part cause when you have such a delicious food you must have wine, champagne, or at least something can cheer you up. Each of us had a main dish, thatās why we couldnāt feed any dessert . Strongly recommend a big group of people must make booking if only two or three people you can try walking if you are lucky . Try to come around 12 oāclock on sport and you can have one hour lunch if you are not rush back to work ,suit time is one and half hour at this place for lunch . Definitely Iām gonna come back. I will make sure I can have tiramisu and seafood-spaghetti.

In the heart of Sydney City just a a few blocks from China Town behind World Square thereās a lovely Italian restaurant. It isnāt my first time here, counting my fingers it might be my 3rd time. The first time we ordered the buffalo wings š which is still unforgettable on top of pizza. This time we took my family and cousin, we started with mussels and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries š was nice, sweet and crispy, I would definitely order that to share! We also ordered a pasta and 2 pizzas to share. The prosciutto was delicious and the four cheese pizza š was very well balanced! However the four cheese, I would suggest sharing cause a slice can be quite filling. The prosciutto would be one where you can have in your own or share between two people. The pizza bread is nice and chewy, still warm when the food arrived. A beautiful meal that we wrapped up with tiramisu and creppe paired with their cappuccino. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, also able to let us know how much food would be enough for a table of 5 people tonight āŗļø it is a wonderful experience which weāll definitely come back for more!!

We came in a big group of 20 for a celebration. We had money to burn. You think that a waiter would have been all over our table with the intention to get us as many drinks and food as we could possibly consume. If I was the business owner, thatās what I would have made my staff to do. And guess what, we would have spent the money too, as we were very keen to have a good time. But not this place. When we got there, we waited over 5 minutes at our table and no one helped us. We had to ask to order! What a wasted business opportunity for them! When we finally did order, they got confused and completely forgot one poor lady in our groups meal. She asked where her meal was and they asked her what it was. She mentioned that she thought it might be the same thing another lady ordered but wasnāt sure (sheās not Italian so she couldnāt remember the exact name). So about 10 minutes later they bring a dish identical to what the other lady ordered for her. But then when sheās halfway through her late meal, they brought the original dish she actually ordered which apparently was slightly different to what she told the waiter was late. The waiter then got angry and blamed her!! If they hadnāt have screwed up the order in the first place, they wouldnāt have to ask their own customer what she ordered. And to then blame a customer when you should have already known what she ordered in the first place, that seems harsh. All this could have been forgiven if the food was good. But itās not. Which is surprising as itās a very expensive venue in the middle of the city that seems to be run by Italians. The pizza was absolute rubbish. I ordered the potato and truffle pecorino pizza which cost over $30 and it was flavourless! I also tried other pizzas and was very disappointed. And the biggest sin is my pizza was cold!!! Thereās no excuses for that. The food is not authentic Italian at all. The only thing authentic about this place is the Italian style service which is slow, disinterested and blames you. Wonāt be coming back here.

The food: Based off the large queues and pumping atmosphere I thought the food would be phenomenal. I would say itās pretty average, I had the gnocchi (usually a favourite of mine), the tedesca pizza, and the risotto. The gnocchi was good I loved how it was cooked but the only thing it was lacking was the flavour in the sauce. Of course it was a classic red base, but my grandma makes it much better in a respectful way, it was perfectly yum otherwise. The pizza (while having a beautiful base) was quite flavourless, just needed another kick. The risotto was perfectly fine, and very filling of course. The desserts were very average though, Nutella crepes and almond orange cake. The cake was so dry I had to send it back for the crepes- the crepes were fine and served with fresh fruits- but Iāve had better. The tiramisu was lovely. The service: Had a lovely waitress, no complaints. Only problem was one waitress that would keep bumping into my chair constantly (there was a large space to walk). There was only one glass dropped next to the table, a piece of food dropped next to the table, and an over counter spill that washed over to my table. But very respectful attitude from one waiter who took my dry cake back for me. Atmosphere: Perfectly fine and very comfortable. Otherwise, very loud and hot (but is to be expected of a popular restaurant).

We visited Macchiato last holiday season with friends and had a wonderful dining experience. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff were quick to seat us and made sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. We started with the Garlic & Cheese Pizza, which was perfectly crispy and a great way to kick off the meal. Our mains were the Quatro Formaggiāan indulgent white-base pizza with rich flavors from the combination of Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Smoked Scamorza, and Parmigiano Reggianoāand the Tartufata, which was a delightful mix of truffle paste, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and ricotta. Both pizzas were thin, crispy, and had just the right balance of flavors, leaving us thoroughly impressed. We also enjoyed their gnocchi pasta, which was cooked to perfection. The mocha coffee we ordered complemented the meal beautifully, providing a smooth finish to an already great evening. The friendly service, combined with the high-quality food, made our experience memorable. Even with the crowd, we never felt neglected, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed. Weāll definitely be returning!
