The Shinara Korean Restaurant BBQ Buffet is located at 338 Pitt Street, Sydney, about a 10-minute walk from either Central Station or Town Hall Station. It has been operating for many years. They have a variety of cooked food and raw meat, including some Wagyu beef. The famous dishes include LA beef ribs, beef bulgogi, beef belly, chili chicken, pork belly, marinated pork ribs, and teriyaki. You can also choose mushrooms, vegetables, kimchi, fruits, and ice cream. Their delicious daily cooking soup and fried chicken are also very popular. Monday to Thursday $45/ person Friday to Sunday $49/person. Good for small groups, team eat or family casual eat.

$45 Fri-Sun Dinner incl soft drinks now. Lots of meats to choose. Below was pre Pandemic: Lunch is hotpot, half price of $32.9 weekdays BBQ dinner (more variety of meats plus prawns, mussels, squids & etc). Best deal in Sydney Town Hall. Other Korean BBQ, one dish is around the price of this 'All-U-can-Eat'. So entrée, drinks (from concentrated), side dishes, fruits & salad come as bonus. Unexpectedly, on 31Dec, it provided expensive cherries during the continued Australian drought, with the same weekdays price. Highest cost performance ratio.

I had dinner at Shinara with a friend last week. The restaurant is a buffet with a very good range of both cooked food and meats for the grill. The deal is 90 minutes and you just go for it. I really enjoyed it. There is a good range of cooked foods and then a decent range of meats for you to cook on the grill. The grill is also a decent size compared to most other Korean bbqs so you never feel like you’re trying to squeeze food into a tiny hot plate. We really enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, all bar one photo didn’t come out properly.

Shinara is the finest Korean buffet restaurant in Sydney. They have a wide range of Korean food and the most impressive part is that they taste very good. For a buffet restaurant, they make a good quality Korean food. Highly recommend the chili pork ribs & sweet potato chips. They also let you create your own soup by offering the best Korean soup ingredients. You can also have Korean BBQ (dinner only) if you’re a big eater. For these reasons I give this place the 4 bears Note: The lunch menu is better

Visited on Monday night for their Korean BBQ. There is a very good range of meats as well as cooked dishes. The hot plate on each table is huge which allows you to cook faster than you can eat! A nice selection of Cooked dishes including Soup and an area to make your own Bibimbap. I only wish they had a larger variety of Desserts. Overall, pretty good value at $40pp (if you pay cash).

Great value food with a good range of options. When arriving, you need to pay at the door. Once seated, there is no table service. If you want drinks, you need to return to the front arrival area, line up, and pay for drinks, which is not great but as their sign says, why pay more....it's good enough. At the end of the day your paying for the food here and the value is hard to beat.
