Tasman Eco has been running quite cost effective specials over NOV/DEC periods with some significant savings.

My partner and I travel between ADL and QLD with our newborn. We are in the market for a new cot and drawers as well as a change tablet and I took advantage of the savings.

My 5* rating only relates to their customer service through my interaction with John so far as I experienced glitches with amount payable for some of the packaged deals during payment in the wee hours of the morning.

By 8.30am, John has emailed me to acknowledge the website problem, sent me a personalised link for payment, accomodated my request to upgrade the mattress and has also kindly discounted on the difference of the upgrade as well as thrown in an additional item, all on his own back. All up, maybe an additional $100 worth of savings on top of their packaged deals.

I acknowledged the goodwill and paid straightaway. Within a couple of hours, John has already informed me that all 8 items are ready to be picked up by the couriers either this afternoon or tomorrow!

Apparently, Tasman Eco is a family business and it shows with the amount of diligence and care they take to make sure their customers are looked after.

I eagerly await for the delivery of our new cot, draws, change tables etc. I know if there is any issues with the product, I am in good hands and Tasman Eco will be fair in resolving any issues.

It's about time we ensure family-run Australian businesses like Tasman Eco thrive and continue to provide good customer care...

I've ordered online a kids mattress 130x69 cm from Temple & Webster. It has nice reviews on different platforms, and the description states it has beaded edges and some foam, however, I can't feel anything like that. Each spring can be felt through the surface even without applying pressure, which means the baby will be able to feel them as well. I'm sorry, but it's much worse to the touch than cheaper mattresses from department stores. There you can at least feel some padding and have to push to be able to get to the edges of the springs. The only positive with this one is there is no off-gassing or other surprises.

I'm aware that these mattresses, including Tasman Eco, meet Australian Cot Mattress Standards, so the manufacturers aren't solely responsible for the fact these amazing products exist, but in my humble opinion babies aren't cattle and shouldn't sleep wherever. I assumed that "firm" mattress means there's a firm padding over inner springs, not the absence of the padding.

I hadn't been able to find Tasman Eco in stores here in Melbourne to be able to check it out, so I decided to trust the reviews and get it online. Now it's obviously impossible to return the mattress, as the vacuum packaging is not intact. As a first time parent there is so little free time, and now I have to spend even more time coming up with child safe padding or mattress topper, at least for the time being....

I wish there was an option to provide a higher rating than 5 stars, as Tasman Eco well and truly deserve it. The quality of the 2 cots (1 compact for our bedroom and 1 normal for the nursery), 2 mattresses, fitted sheets and mattress protectors are outstanding. I have complete piece of mind knowing our beautiful baby boy is sleeping safely and soundly on the very best products. When you make a purchase (which is a no brainer due to the quality) you will also notice what really stands out is the amazing customer service your receive start to finish. It is extremely rare these days to get exceptional customer service, where you feel like you matter, you're being heard and actually responded to! (in a very prompt and polite manner). What's refreshing is you're actually treated like a parent, where they understand you're already stressed enough as it is and if there are any hurdles (usually with postage which is out of their control) they will do everything in their power to resolve it for you, going above and beyond.
