This is my first ever review because as someone who had a background in hospitality from 16 to 23 before starting my career I generally can't think of anything I can't look past as I understand how hard it can be to deal with customers or how bad days can affect how a customer may view us.. saying that, I am shocked at the badly this place treats "its clients/Customers".. My partner booked me in for some on going appointment here which I had to stop after the first one. The session itself was extremely unprofessional. I shared this with my partner who then told me the emails to create this appointment was so complicated and the lady kept moving the appointmens without first asking and at one point canceled. so it took months to finally get in. When my partner tried to raise these issues, the way she was treated escalated the situation to a very unnecessary point. She simply wanted to let the front desk have some feed back with the emails sent to us and that was it. she was instead told that this issue would be given to the CEO and to forward these emails. again she never asked for this. Weeks went by and when she checked in about the feedback she gave she would be lied to or ignored. We later found this out because a newer front desk person accidentally told her that the email she sent was put into an archive folder and nothing had been sent to the CEO. ( we have proof because my partner decided to record this due to how ridiculous this simple situation had gotten as she couldn't believe this was actually happening). We then spoke to the initial staff member Mikayla ( the one who offered to raise this to the CEO) who then rolled her eyes and finally email "the CEO". ( again we never even asked for this and most people would have just accepted the feedback and left it instead of offering to involve a CEO and then ignoring my partners email by placing it into archive and lying about it). The CEO TODD Howard of course after making sure we knew he had over 100 successful business, and sending pictures of a new born to excuse why we were dragged through all off this for weeks without an apology instead sent the most abusive email to my partner after she explained the lying that was occurring and recordings she had. ( She has this email saved). There are plenty of gyms and health services around Bondi so I wouldn't waste your time here. As you can see from their previous reviews the food isn't great either. The behaviour of the CEO makes me eager to ask my dads company to Audit Todd Howard because there is something fishy about an organisation with this level of disorganisation and...

They had ran out of sweet potato pancakes ($17), which was of no real issue and not reflected in my rating, but the avocado on toast with halloumi was $18 and very plain/tasteless and not filling in the slightest. The coffee tasted nice, no skill in presentation though.
Took 30 minutes and asking twice to get the $10 smoothie we paid for at the same time as the coffee and food, which we ended up asking for in a take-away cup so we could move on, only to be handed it with no straw and filled passed the rim so we couldn't even take the lid off to drink it - the waitress on her break next to us asked the server to get a straw to which the other replied, "We've ran out." and then walked off; no apology. We had to source one from another cafe ourselves to drink it, which, again, was bland and underwhelming - not worth the wait or money in the slightest.

Read moreI'm so glad I've joined this gym. I've been a member at Virgin Active and Fitness First for years and I have to say that the best by far is The Well. The interactions with the staff and members creates an environment where it feels like everyones family or friends. I admit I'm still getting used to just random people smiling or saying hello 😊. One of the other major benefits is that I've rarely seen it at full capacity and so I never have to wait for any of the equipment. Others are nice clean toilets, amazing coffee, good range of free weights and it's perfectly located by the beach. Classes I haven't tried yet but keen to give them a go once it's in my training plan. From what I can see they do look great. Thanks so much The Well, especially Dani and Mik.
