The most appalling customer service I have ever experienced. Will never buy anything from this "boutique". I wanted to purchase a blue medusa plate for my mother's 60th birthday which was out of stock at the time. I was informed by a member of staff that a shipment was expected to arrive during the week. I arranged and was promised that one would be put aside for when the shipment arrived. i popped into the store the following weekend and was advised that the shipment was held up at customs and to wait for their call. Received a call on the Friday of the following week saying that the shipment was still held up at customs but was assured that it was expected to be arriving in the store by Tuesday. I explained that I was starting to feel fobbed off, but she said not to worry as they had confirmation and it was definitely there. I said I would see them as soon as it arrived (as my mothers birthday was two weeks ago by this stage...) The following day I received a call from a staff member. He told me that the plate that I had reserved had been sold and I was told to wait a full month for the next shipment. I questioned this and explained that i had already waited 3 weeks for the plate to arrive. The member of staff said that if someone comes into the store and wants to buy something, then they will sell it... irrespective of prior agreements. He then suggested that I should have put down a deposit or pre-paid for the plate and "await its delivery, like everyone does"... I explained that this was not a process that was ever discussed. He was the rudest person I have ever encountered in retail. Requested to send an email to the Versace Head Office in response to this and was given the store email address! Looks like they they want to screen complaints, not surprising with their service... I am utterly disappointed and cannot recommend enough people not to venture into this store. Read moreFALSE & MISLEADING ADVERTISING:: I Have never left a negative review on a business but extremely disappointed in the customer service that our family has received with a recent purchase. Our family has purchased a significant amount of items from this store in the past and last week bought online an adults Versace bathrobe that was on sale (was $720 down to $450)- When we purchased it online the images showed adults wearing the bathrobe and the length was to the knee and without a hood (we made sure of this as we know there is shorter ones and didn't want that style). We then received a call yesterday, almost a week later randomly asking to confirm that we wanted the kids style and we were baffled as to why we received a call confirming the item we bought (I'm sure that they don't do this for every order?) and they stated that for that price it was the Childs bathrobe?? We denied this and said it was definitely and adults as there was adults in the picture and the order it states nothing about a Childs robe? We feel that the company has made an error and incorrectly priced the adults bathrobe at a Childs discounted price and when we said that this is not our fault and that the company should honor the item on THIER website at the advertised price the lady at the store said Head Office will be in contact, last night we received an email stating that instead of honoring the item at the advertised price they have issued a refund.
