Avoid This Place!!!!! Seafood NOT fresh AT ALL!!!! I’ll give this place 0 stars if I could!!! Omg this might be the worse sushi place I’ve visited in Sydney. I haven’t encountered this low quality sushi for a long time. I ordered takeaway for scallops, salmon, kingfish, squid and hand rolls. Only the seared ones are barely ok to eat (maybe bc of the heavy sauces that made you can’t taste the off flavor, however I still threw away the seared salmon as it tasted weird after chewing on it). At first I thought it was only the squid that was bad, but later after I tasted other seafood I realised that all raw seafood are off. They also look very dry too. I doubt the freshness of the seafood, they must have been sitting there for a considerable period of time. 🤮🤢I feel sick after eating this and ended up throwing most of it away. What a waste of money and time! The bad seafood taste lingered in my mouth for at least an hour and it’s so disgusting!!!!!! I’ll have to review on google to let ppl know what they’ll get from here! Prices aren’t cheap but quality is extremely bad!!!!!!

Ordered takeaway with my cousin the other day. Lady at the counter handed menus with prices all blacked out. Not a good start... then we got a bit of joy when we got a proper menu with prices on it this time. The waiting time was quite long. Roughly 30 minutes. We started waiting at an alfresco table outside. Halfway through that, we saw one of the staff about to bring us some water butfrom where we sat, didn't hear the conversation that took place. But the body language suggested the eat might have been told off by the lady at the counter that took our order. I suspect to say we were take out customers. So we didn't get water... Awkward. Would like to think tap water was the least they could have done considering we ordered for 6 people and the wait was long.. I had the black garlic ramen and added chicken karaage. The soup base was nice. However the pork was dry and tough. The chicken karaage was also dry and tough. Overall a disappointing experience.

Been a few times dine in there, pretty good experience every time, nice staff and good food But tonight 18Jan, I went there for takeaway because they were quite busy, placed my order 7:05pm and got them 7:33pm, a bit wait but that was ok When I got home, and realized they missed 3 sushi items ( including today’s special ) for my order which was quite shocked and disappointed, I don’t live super close to the resto, and I have friends over, I couldn’t go back and tell them what have been missing in my order, messaged them via social media but no reply then called to resto, the first staff who picked up the call couldn’t really understand then I had to explain to another staff on the phone again a few times and there was no way for me to go back and pick up what it missed in my order, they took my name but I don’t know if I have to explain all over again when I go to the resto next time to be honest

The seared salmon sushi, delicately adorned with a light dressing of fresh lemon and a sprinkle of salt, is an exquisite culinary masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds and elevates the sushi experience to unparalleled heights. This dish is a true testament to the artistry of sushi-making and the harmony of flavors that can be achieved when skilled hands and exceptional ingredients come together.

The first thing that catches the eye is the vibrant pink hue of the seared salmon, glistening with a tantalising sheen that hints at the tender, moist texture awaiting with each bite. The visual appeal is heightened by the pristine white grains of salt, offering a symphony of colours that reflect the freshness and quality of the ingredients used.

As you bring the sushi closer to your nose, the aroma of the seared salmon fills the air, releasing an enticing scent that immediately whets the appetite. The gentle smokiness from the searing process is expertly balanced with the natural sweetness of the salmon, creating an alluring fragrance that promises an extraordinary gastronomic journey.

With eager anticipation, you delicately lift the sushi to your lips, and as you take the first bite, a burst of flavors dances across your taste buds. The seared exterior lends a subtle crispiness to the salmon, while the luscious, buttery flesh reveals itself beneath, melting effortlessly in your mouth. The lemon dressing imparts a refreshing tang that complements the richness of the salmon, adding a citrusy brightness that elevates the overall taste profile.

The interplay of textures is nothing short of remarkable. The tender, succulent salmon contrasts beautifully with the slight resistance of the rice beneath, which has been masterfully seasoned with just the right balance of vinegar and sweetness. Each element harmonizes, creating a symphony of taste and texture that leaves you craving for more.

The simplicity of this dish is a testament to the philosophy of Japanese cuisine, where each ingredient is thoughtfully selected and treated with respect to allow its natural flavors to shine. The chef's skillful technique in searing the salmon to perfection ensures that the fish remains moist and tender, while the minimalistic yet artful presentation adds an element of elegance to the overall dining experience.

In the realm of sushi, this seared salmon creation stands out as a true gem, a delicacy that delights both the sushi aficionado and the novice alike. Its balanced flavors, textural complexity, and visual allure make it a quintessential representation of culinary excellence, leaving a lasting impression that will beckon you back for more.

In conclusion, the seared salmon sushi dressed with lemon and salt is a culinary marvel that celebrates the beauty of simplicity and the bounty of nature's gifts. It exemplifies the epitome of sushi craftsmanship, leaving an indelible mark on your palate and a fond memory of a dining experience that can only be described as extraordinary. If you ever have the opportunity to savor this remarkable dish, don't hesitate, for it is an adventure of the senses that you won't soon forget.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never left a review before because I’ve never felt so compelled, but the experience I had ordering takeaway through Uber eats from this restaurant was beyond atrocious. During a covid lockdown I completely understand being busy so I was understanding when the delivery ETA grew later and later. But at 1.5 hours after the time I placed the order I called. The woman who answered could not find any trace of the order. After checking the name on the order and the contents multiple times she eventually returned to say it hadn’t been made yet because they were busy and it would still take some time. Imagine that. A well reviewed Japanese restaurant busy on a Friday night during lockdown. Shocking. She did not offer any remedy for the situation. Despicable. Might I suggest not accepting more orders through delivery apps than you are able to fulfill. Not to mention the poor delivery driver losing more jobs and revenue waiting on this one order for more than 40 minutes. Of course I gave her a tip which meant I only had to spend more on my cold gyozas and mediocre sushi that apparently took ages to make. I hope this poor review means you get fewer orders since clearly you cannot handle the...

My partner and I dined in at this resturaunt last night. This was our first time eating out at this place. While the food was ok the service was a HUGE let down. We came at around 7pm and had to wait at least half an hour to get in then were seated another 10-15mins in front of the sushi train until I had to holler the waitress a couple of times to finally bring out menus, chopsticks and plates. When were finally able to order, we were told there was a 1hr wait for any sushi or sushimi not on the train (which was pretty much the majority of the menu). We noticed we were not alone with many other customers appearing to be waiting for their food and cutlery for ages, even before we were seated! When we decided to finally pay I had to holler the waitresses 3 times before we could get the bill sorted. Clearly this place is understaffed to provide adequate service. We definitely won't be coming back to this place. Funnily enough, as we were walking to the car we noticed the couple that dined in before us sitting at the local pizza deli around the corner. I guess that sums up their lack of service that...
