I went here to try their desserts and it does not disappoint!!! I really enjoyed everything and the staff were so, so nice too! Hopefully the below convinces you to go because it was so good (and the interior is gorgeous). Also, the plates they bring out the desserts on are so, so pretty.
Brulee milky strawberry with oat milk: this was my favourite drink - I love that thereās real š and I had gotten the sweetness adjusted.
Brulee Thai milk tea: The brulee drink wasnāt too sweet (so it was perfect). I loved the way it looks too - so satisfying to shake.
Yuzu sparkling: This drink was so refreshing! Real yuzu too! I had this drink to go with little ice.
Oat milk honey iced latte: my friend said he really enjoyed it. Heās not much of a foodie but you could still tell it was really good since he was so happy with the drink haha. āVery good coffeeā āŗļøāŗļø
Aurora coffee milk tea: itās very reminiscent of a HK bubble tea with coffee - so I really like this one too. I had it with pearls and I really enjoyed it since they were perfect!!
Hojicha cheesecake: We really enjoyed the cheesecake, the hojicha was a really good subtle flavour and the cheesecake texture reminded me of a well made basque cheesecake!
Lychee oolong crepe cake: Iāve never had a fluffier crepe cake- usually the layers feel a bit grainy from the flour but I didnāt feel that way at all with this. Lychee oolong is also such a wonderful combo 10/10!!!!!!!!!
Milk tea bingsoo: I was not expecting how fluffy the milk tea ice to be - it came with brown sugar syrup, condensed milk, white and normal black pearls. We demolished it even though we didnāt expect ourselves to with just two people. I was worried that milk tea ice was going to taste watery but, the tea flavour was strong!! Genuinely the best bingsoo Iāve had in Australia.
Overall, this place is a super authentic Asian dessert place. Itās so beautiful and the drinks are high quality like the other Bubble Nini stores. I genuinely recommend taking the time to sit down with a drink and dessert here instead of just a drink to-go.
After about lunch time it seems like the store is a bit busier. Iād recommend trying to get here before a typical lunch time so you could get the seating by the bookcase backdrop, but really all the seats here are gorgeous. Thereās dried flowers around the place and a huge mirror too so for the foodie girlies, I think youād enjoy taking...
Read moreBubble Nini in Zetland turned out to be the perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with my brother. From the moment we walked in, the café had a chill, welcoming vibe that made it easy to settle in for a good chat without feeling rushed.
We shared one of their cakes, and it was a sweet little highlight ā nicely balanced, fresh, and just enough to satisfy our cravings. But the real star of the show was, of course, the bubble tea. With so many flavors to choose from, thereās something for everyone, whether you like fruity, creamy, or something in between. The drinks were well-prepared, refreshing, and full of that fun, chewy tapioca we all love.
Another thing worth noting is the cafĆ© itself. Itās stylish and thoughtfully decorated, making it very Instagrammable without feeling over-the-top. The layout was comfortable, with enough seating for a casual meet-up, and the overall atmosphere encouraged you to linger a little longer ā which we happily did.
Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall relaxed, positive experience. Prices were reasonable for the area and the quality of the drinks and cakes, which makes it a great option for both quick visits and longer hangouts.
Whether youāre popping in for a sweet treat, a refreshing bubble tea, or just a spot to relax and catch up with friends, Bubble Nini ticks all the boxes. Between the tasty menu, friendly service, and charming space, itās easy to see why this cafĆ© is becoming a favourite in Zetland. My brother and I left happy, full, and already thinking about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to Bubble Nini for several years and they have only improved their menu to introduce new items to follow the latest trends.
When I heard they also expanded, I came to check out their newest addition - formerly known as Aurora Cafe (but now known as Bubble Nini Cafe).
I always forget to write google reviews for businesses, especially when I enjoy the service. This place started when zetland was developing so I cannot imagine it being an easy venture for a new small business being born during the pandemic and into a brand new area.
I know a few people who opened food and beverage businesses and have all had the same issues on recruiting skilled staff to deliver good customer service and produce high quality foods/drinks, albeit both!
I think Bubble Nini Cafe did great - and although it seems a lot of negative reviews revolves around staff customer service, I think we need to all be a bit more open minded about the current situation.
Yes, sometimes their staff may be busy or lack customer service skills in the past (which has clearly improved), but if we look at the positives which is the gorgeous cafe interior, the delicious boutique coffee beans, and extensive range of desserts including shaved ice and cakes, I think the overall verdict for me is a 5 star!
Keep up...
