It is always such a delight and treat to visit the German Cuckoo Clock Nest in Mt Tambourine. The staff are so welcoming, patient, friendly and their passion and generous knowledge of their incredible inventory of clocks is just wonderful.
But, the star of the show is of course, the staggering array of German ingenuity in the form of the clocks, mechanical toys and decorations, art, and wonderful festive paraphernalia.
You could easily spend hours looking and admiring at the beautiful workmanship of the artist that have created every little trinket. From the details in the clocks, to the lovely examples of Germanic stories and lives captured in the decorations, there is an endless wealth of all the loveliness of this ancient culture.
This is a must-see destination and I delight in visiting here always. Thank you German Cuckoo Clock Nest for sharing your passion and knowledge with this little part of Australia. You...
Read moreI’d been eyeing a Junghans Meister Chronoscope watch for a while. Junghans head office in Germany directed me to these guys as the sole distributor in Australia. I’m always a little nervous buying something of fairly high value, without physically seeing it, from a business I don’t know… but I needn’t have worried. Stef was prompt and responsive over email to my (numerous!) questions, including sending me actual photos of the watch in stock, through to purchase, and finally secure shipment to my home in Sydney. The watch and box arrived swiftly via fully tracked service in absolutely perfect condition, expertly packaged. I couldn’t be more impressed. I would gladly use them again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Faultless service and I also take satisfaction supporting an independent family business. Big companies take note, this is how you do customer service and encourage...
Read moreThis place deserves 10 stars! The place is magical outside and inside and full of charm. I was never even a fan of clocks(let alone the sound of the tick tick ticking) but the uniqueness of this place and the way the it is done up I was compelled to go inside and have a look. And boy is it magical inside so many unusual unique clocks and big grandfather clocks and the magical sounds and other wooden things… I ended up buying a beautiful clock from here as a gift for a family member and when I got home and looked at it, it turned out to be made in Germany making it an even more special clock. The lady that helped me was so lovely and very chatty (seemed like a family business), it was a pleasure to be in the store and to spend on something unique. Def worth a visit! I would love to come back here...
