I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming café on Mount Tamborine, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff who truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, you feel an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality.
The service here is exceptional—quick, attentive, and with a smile. Even though I visited during a relatively quiet time, I could see how efficiently the staff work, so I imagine even on busier days, any wait times would be well-managed. The food arrived promptly, and the quality was simply outstanding. Every dish is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, making each meal feel special. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling down for a full meal, the café offers something for everyone.
Speaking of coffee, it was fantastic—rich, smooth, and exactly what you’d hope for in a café perched on this scenic mountain. They offer a lovely selection of cakes and treats as well, perfect for those who just want to pop in for something light. But if you're after a more filling option, their meals are just as impressive. The menu is diverse, with something for every taste, and everything is prepared with care.
And let's not forget the ice creams! A perfect treat, especially on a warm day, with a range of flavors to choose from that are just as delicious as the rest of the menu.
If you’re ever on Mount Tamborine and looking for a cozy, welcoming spot with fantastic food and coffee, this café should be at the top of your list. It’s the perfect place for a casual catch-up, a relaxing break, or even just a quick coffee stop. Trust me, you won’t be...
Read moreTo start off, the service was horrible. We had looked at the menu, decided what we wanted and went to the counter. We were waiting at the counter for longer than need be, while there were two ladies behind the counter just having a good old conversation. The one who served us was either new, or didn’t know anything about her own menu.
I ordered the veggie fritters and my partner wanted a big brekky. Now admittedly, we were ordering food at around 12:20pm, although the menu had no cut off time for breakfast, and the lunch special menu even had a “breakfast” on there as well. When ordering, she ran off half way through to check if the chef could cook the veggie fritters, he said he could. Then my partner asked for the big brekky. Without even asking the chef, she straight away said “we can’t do that. It’s lunch time. We’re serving lunch menu, that’s on the breakfast menu” she was very short, and rude. A simple “sorry the chef said we can’t do that” is fine. I’ve worked in hospitality for many years, if you can’t handle being nice to customers when they’re treating you with respect, you shouldn’t be in hospitality.
When the food arrived, the burger that my partner ended up getting was clearly store bought. That was no where near a home made patty. The chips had more flavour, and that’s saying something for fried potato sticks.
The fritters were claggy, overpowered with herbs, and not worth the $17.90 I paid
Wouldn’t recommend, honestly go...
Read moreWARNING!!!! If you have any food allergies NEVER go to this place if you value your health! First time I've visited Mt Tamborine and came to this venue. When I ordered with my girlfriend I was told there would be a 40min wait. So be it because it seemed like a good place and its busy so assumed the food was amazing. So I ordered a burger with gluten free bread instead of a bun and no aioli as im severely allergic. Burger comes out 1hr 10mins later and its got aioli on it. I take it back and politely say I cant eat this as im allergic and one of the staff (im assuming the manager given how she was ordering staff around for the last hour) says we can make it again but ill have to wait again. I tell her my partner has her meal now we cant wait that long as we have to get back to Brisbane so I want a refund please. She then says "well we told you there was a wait when your ordered" and when I said thats fine but we cant afford to wait another 40mins and she jokingly says that I should have told her staff I was allergic to aioli and when I told her I did when we ordered she just scoffed and laughed in my face. I got my refund in the end but to basically get laughed at over them giving me a meal I told them I was allergic to and would put me in a hospital is beyond absurd and speaks volumes. I hope anyone that has allergies and is sick as a result of eating there reports them because they clearly dont have a single care for their...
