A famous market before Dhaka New Market for women's and kid's fashion and apparels in very reasonable price. Numerous shops with a huge range of different quality and designs are available here (even you would be confused to decide among the different options). If you're thinking of shopping over here, you should be a pro in bargaining prices. I would suggest to start bargaining at 50% less when seller's asking price is up to BDT 2,000; and 60% less when asking price is more than BDT 2,000 (trust me, it works, and it's quite normal here). This is a warmer and crowded place and there are very narrow passages for moving, thus it's completely not a suitable place for any physically handicapped person. Besides, while you are bargaining, some of the sellers may use disrespectful or abusive behaviour. Just ignore them and leave the shop...

This market is located at almost oposite of Dhaka College, beside Dhanmondi Gausia Market, New Market etc. You will get ladies local & indian (may be pakistani also) sharee, blows, salwar kamij, gents lungi, shirting suiting cloths, lungi, genji, t-shirts, trousers, garment items etc. You will get comperatively cheaper price here but you have to burgain with them otherwise you will loose.
