The worst experience I’ve ever had getting a haircut. My Portuguese isn’t good, soo I spoke English. The barber, which was the only female their, I don’t know her name cut my hair. My God the most uncomfortable haircut, thought I was talking about her because I spoke English to my friend, and she was very insecure and kept asking my “what?” made me very uncomfortable. On top of that My friend and I were the last people to get a haircut and she rushed us, and messed up my hairline, and pushing it back and making it very round, when naturally it is straight. By far the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life, and it is on New Years. I highly recommend to anyone do not go here, they over charge for a terrible haircut. The older barber who spoke a little English didn’t want to cut my hair and rushed out, on top of that he took 45 min to lineup a customers beard, no haircut just a beard! Please don’t go here they messed up my New Years. Very unprofessional as well, it’s a Mickey Mouse operation, all pony show. Very disrespectful to me, I noticed how the barbers catered to men who weren’t straight, but I don’t know. I just hope no one goes through what I experienced, very uncomfortable, rushed, rude, and inexperienced. Happy New Years 2019...

I cannot express how impressed I was with the haircut and beard trim I got from Gabi. I'm 35 years old, and I've never had a better haircut in my life. I also have a very patchy beard that I've been growing out, and I've gone to so many places who have messed it up and set me back months - but Gabi did an absolutely world class job at shaping and sculpting, and keeping the patches covered. She was friendly, kind and so incredible at her craft. Genuinely an artist. The whole thing cost around $20-25 (USD) and my only regret is that I didn't have cash to tip more. Thank you...

I’ve been to Rio 18 times and get my haircut each trip-I happened to stumble upon Mr. Barber and from the second, I walked in the door I knew I found my new barbershop for each of my future trips.

The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming-but the Staff took it over Top!

They all made you feel very welcome and at home from the second they greet you.

From what I observed - all the barbers were extremely highly professional and qualified and gifted barbers.

And my experience was 10 out of 10!

For anyone looking for a barber in Ipanema Beach area I strongly recommend that you give these guys a chance I can assure you won’t be disappointed!
