I can't say enough about Master Gee's Black Belt Academy! The instructors are incredible - not just because they are excellent martial artists (which they very clearly are), but also because of how they teach. They are friendly and kind. They give a lot of practical advice about dealing with real life scenarios. They make complex techniques accessible and fun. There is a strong sense of community at Master Gee's. It is like no dojo I have ever seen or attended.

It doesn't matter how bad a day I may have had before going to class - I leave Master Gee's happy. My kids - who had a lukewarm experience at another dojo that they attended for a few years- LOVE Master Gee's! We honestly couldn't ask for better. We feel very fortunate to have found Master Gee's!

I love all the staff here and the calm collective vibes they give. They treat you like family and are very welcoming. It isn't a traditional intense practice like some other places but it's perfect for your little ones. The onlyy complaint I have is that I wish they could send a general email or have a small sign for parents in the waiting room to leave their kids at home if they're sick or please throw a mask on their sick child!! The place is pretty flexible in schedules so it shouldn't be a problem. I am just tired of a couple kids and parents coughing at everyone everywhere and thinking nobody else is feeling uncomfortable.
