Came for ice cream with our family and friends. We came at 4:10 on a weekday, ordered and sat down at 4:27 after getting our treat. The girl working there had AirPods in her ears and kept asking us to repeat the order several times (two kids cones with birthday cake and sprinkles as add on). Very unprofessional to keep asking us about a straightforward order. The first cone broke in my had as she handed it to me without a napkin, poor quality in making the cone I guess. After we ordered and sat down she stared at us with the words “we are closed”. Super awkward to all of us and the other dad with his daughter also already seated to eat and had to leave part way as well. There was no sign that they were closing early and when we left the hours were till 5pm Eve though online it’s 9pm, so why do we need to leave at 4:30? To give it a second chance my daughter and I came again to grab a scoop, and they were closed. This time there was a handwritten note on the door about them being shut down for the weekend. I come to this place a lot and it’s always been a 5 star experience from the staff, icecream flavours and the serving sizes. howeverrrr, i came in sunday night and the worker did not even address us. there was a skip order placed after we had gotten there and he did that order first ( which consisted of 5 icecream orders). we waited 15 minutes in the store and still had not been addressed. (keep in mind we were the only ones there). We finally decided to just leave as it was clear he did not want to help us. kinda disappointed as i usually love coming here. i get it, skip orders can be busy and being the only staff member there is stressful. but even just a “hello” would be nice. i work in the same industry and am not usually one to write a negative review. i just hope the man working there realizes how easily his negativity can be reflected onto...
