This is not speaking to the bubble tea but the service I got today. I attempted to contact chatime creekside this evening because I noticed the half sweet, no ice milktea was sweeter than expected. As such I messaged them about this issue. As a result, I just learned today when I go to Chatime and order a milktea 50 percent sweet with no ice, they actually give you 80 percent sweet. If you question this particular location about it they will tell you next time you should order 30 percent sweet if you wanted the right sweetness level. As if this is some sort of general knowledge. Also I have ordered the same order at other Chatime establishments, and they have never turned out like this.
What irks me the most is the fact I really don't feel like my issue was addressed adequately. They confirmed they added more sugar in my drink than I asked for and practically said "sorry we actually gave you MORE sugar than you asked for, better luck next time and order it right next time. Ps, thanks for wasting your 5 dollars with us. Come again though." Thanks for that experience. I don't really wanna come back to your establishment to order incorrectly again. What is this bubble tea roulette? "It's actually a GAMBLE for you to come into our store and order the sweetness you want we might just put in extra sugar for you. Get you some diabeetus faster by giving you more sugar than you asked for but that's you ordering incorrectly, not us" Since I did not feel you gave me an adequate solution I will leave this review here.
I also want to address the fact that every time I went to your store, one of your staff members are wearing perfume. I just feel that is unprofessional because some clients may be allergic and the scent lingers. Most professional work places do not allow the use of perfume and I would especially hope not when you deal with food and drinks. Is that even necessary. Obviously, go to work and be hygienic but you really don't need to wear floral perfume do you? Not a safe scent free...
Read moreThis is usually my go-to Chatime as I live close it. I haven't really had issues until my most recent experience which ended in major disappointment. I came on Friday, a girl was working alone and it wasn't even that busy but my drinks were not made well at all. The sad part is I purchased the drinks for my parents whom I were visiting were also very disastisfied in the drinks.
One of them was supposed to be no ice, but clearly had a lot of ice in them and as my mom can't drink super cold drinks I had to open the cup up and take the ice out leaving me with only half a cup of drink left. I got a smoothie for my dad which was blended VERY poorly that it had major ice chunks and even made a crunchy sound when he drank it. I could even see how poorly blended it was in the cup without even trying it.
Even if the employee had been busy, I would have rather waited another 5 or 10 minutes for properly made drinks than for her to rush and give me such poor quality drinks that werent even for myself. I should have checked the drinks before I left but even so, is it necessary for me to check the quality each time? And the mango slush was not only blended poorly but the taste was diluted probably because she added wayyy too much ice in the blender hence the poor blending and poor taste. I've gotten slushes at chatime before and they've never been that icy that you need to chew the ice in a slush.
I'm also disappointed in that I even tipped the girl working and ended up receiving such poorly made drinks. It makes me feel like I shouldn't bother tipping if the service I'm getting is ending up worse than normal. I worked customer service before so I know tips are greatly appreciated but in this case maybe it doesn't even make...

Here is my review based off of all occasions.
Drinks: The first time I went there, my smoothie was too "icy". Thought maybe that was a one off, so the second time I went, I asked for it to be well blended. It was. So the third time I asked for it to be well blended again and I had 3 whole ice cubes at the bottom. It was worse than the 1st time. The smoothies shouldn't have whole ice cubes in them anyway, but the fact that they did that when it was even requested to be well blended shows they did not listen to instructions. (I can't figure out how to upload a pic to this post.)
Food: one time I ordered the xl chicken. Flavour was good, but I was disappointed with size of chicken they give for 8 dollars. It seemed very small.
Service: first two times I ordered, i had it delivered. But this recent time I ordered, my husband went to pick up. He got there and no one acknowledged his presence. He thought maybe they were just busy. He waited a minute although he could see our order waiting at the counter. Then when another woman came in, as soon as she entered the door, she was acknowledged and the staff asked if she was there for pickup. The lady said no and that she was gonna order in a moment. Then my husband spoke up and said "um. I'm here for pickup. That's mine right there pointed to drinks" The lady looked at him, handed him the drinks, walked away without saying a word.
My husband never wants to return there again. They treated him poorly and the drinks aren't that good.
So that's why im rating a 2. Drinks are ok. Food is overpriced. Instructions aren't...
