KFC — Restaurant in Calgary

Gian one of the crew who was in the counter was busy looking at some receipts and didnt even care to greet me when I came. Instead he told one of the training crew to assist me as if I am a ghost infront of him. I ordered and requested for chicken to be thigh part as my son had requested it because it’s his birthday today. Gian overheard it and said to the crew “No, we don’t allow that” as if I’m not even there to direct the answer to me. So now, I told the crew staff to ask the manager if she could possibly do this for me this time (never had a problem before requesting this at this store) so he went to the manager Robee (a Filipino woman, Gian was a Filipino guy) and came back to me saying that the manager said no. At that point I still dont know their names so I go ask the crew for them because I said I will reach out to the head office probably. After hearing me, Robee came instantly and said she can give me 3 thigh parts of the chicken and I politely declined and said to just put whatever comes with it. Then after seems like forever, my order came without anyone thanking me for my business and as if doing me a favor that they were even open. I opened the bag and no condiments there that still I had to ask. I emailed KFC management and left my number/email to call but no one I guess cared to improve their service. WIL NEVER...

Honestly for me, the chicken tasted just like other kfc chicken. We always buy here whenever we would like to eat kfc because it's the only kfc store around our area. I ordered inside the store for a 10pcs of chicken with a side, a big crunch sandwich, and a chalupa combo from taco bell. Everything is taste the way it supposed to be, and definitely love the big crunch sandwich (one of my favs. It's a bit busy but I didn't wait that long, they made my order in good shape and packed neatly. The cashier staff is also nice and friendly. It's a bit messy around the fountain machine (like the floor is wet) but it's understandable because people can spill their drink when they get one (And I spilled mine too lol)

But Idk why there's so many bad reviews here because everytime I go to this place everything is just fine.

Anyways, this store is not that terrible, I guess people are only interested writing reviews about the store/staff's mistakes haha. And usually, only the customers that had bad experience will most likely to write a review or say something compare to the customers that had good experience (which I assume why there's more bad review here compare...

I'm conflicted.

I really like this place because it's not hard to get to and their food is good.. sometimes? When it's delivery, the wings seem bigger. When I go in person, the wings seem smaller and I get some of those pieces that have no bone and are almost burnt to a crisp. (Tastes like cardboard) I'm speaking for Hot Wings, and it counted for 1 whole wing.

The previous time I went, the staff were in the back laughing at my order because I guess I ordered a lot... I wouldn't say they were unfriendly, but it was kind of offsetting and uncalled for. The website after New Years constantly says they are closed-- so I thought they shut down or something.

However, I don't think there's anything super particularly bad about this area. They accept Colonel's Club and the staff are all lively. The fries definitely taste better if you order and eat within 5minutes of it being served. (Sometimes I order and just eat the fries before leaving-- or eat the fries...
