Ahhh Valentines Day! Heart shape pizza! Nice dinner with the family!!! A vision that could not be full filled by this location! Mr. Smith seems to need to train his crew and manage the front end so that every patron gets the best experience possible. I guess you throw in a different shapes other than round and all goes out the window. Here are some suggestions: Customer service always! Team environment! Circulate as a manager and notice that the table is waiting. You know the kitchen is clogged perhaps some proactive steps need to be taken. Consider not seating people if you can’t serve them. Take pressure off the kitchen and reduce pissed off people. Be honest tell people it’s 45 min wait for a table and thirty for food. This is not a new thing. It happens every year. Perhaps reservations need to be considered or some other solution? More staff on hand that day? Kitchen included.
We got our own napkins I got up to get a spoon because you can never find stealthy server. Some other observations: I saw almost every server let the table dishes pile up and often go to the kitchen empty handed. If you can’t help one another in these stressful times then how can you get it done! This awesome hostess was clearing and hustling getting people tables and helping out in every way she can. Our dessert was served with dirty dishes on our table. Then what I assume was the kitchen manager came with our last dessert and omg she took the dishes. Our bill was almost $100.00 it took 30 min to get a table. Girl took our drinks? Then nothing for 30 ‘min no drinks nothing. I got up grabbed the hard working hostess I wish I got her name she was a gem. To get a manager. Well that didn’t happen. What we got was our server Matt which he confessed he only knew two min ago. Aren’t tables assigned at the beginning of the night??? We asked if the manager could come over. He was all panicked. I said can we order please then get him. So we did. Then finally Mr. Smith entertains us with his presence. One of many similar excuses he had to rinse and repeat all night. I’m sorry but it is what it is. Good thing for him it wasn’t a secret shopper day. Another 30 min appitizer yeah! Cold but came to the table. Then our pizza. Do I dare complain? As the overcooked dry pizza entered my mouth? I would if I could but our server seemed stealthy like untraceable. So we ate. Regretting my choice of a single mom trying to take her awesome mom and kids for a nice love day meal. I said my gosh we will have dessert! I ordered apple crisp with no caramel and ice cream on the side and repeated that part twice. Mom had the bit o brownie no caramel please and the kids had the panookie. Can I say nothing came out correct. Panookie has no caramel which was the only one we didn’t say to take it off. My ice cream was on my Apple crisp which I promptly removed as my daughter wanted just ice cream. And well my moms seemed right except it wasn’t a bit o brownie it was full size. I guess we win one for us lol. Did we complain hell no! Why bother as I feel the attitude from the top was meh! Now if Matt is pissed about his only 5% tip I was contemplating zero but I know they have to tip out the kitchen so I wasn’t that mean. I’m a generous tipper but something has to show me that my business matters. That is why I took my $20 tip and gave it directly to that hustling hostess. She deserved that tip more than anyone one else from what I observed. My hope is she keeps all of it. I hope she knows just how lucky Mr. Smith and the creek side BP is to have an employee that sees a need and hustles to get it done. One bright star in a sea of meh! My recommendation stay home or make a reservation elsewhere next year. Quality is zero service zero and food one at least we got some. I guess we should be thankful that they gave us something for our hard earned money. No...
Read moreI recently dined at Boston Pizza with my children, and I must regrettably report a rather disappointing experience in terms of the service we received.
Upon arrival, we had high hopes for a pleasant family outing. However, our visit took an unfortunate turn as we encountered what I can only describe as unprofessional behavior from the staff. This behavior greatly detracted from our overall enjoyment of the dining experience.
The service was lacking in several key aspects. We found the staff to be inattentive and seemingly disinterested in providing us with the level of service one would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Our requests for assistance and basic amenities went unaddressed for extended periods, leaving us feeling neglected and undervalued as customers.
Furthermore, the ambiance and atmosphere, which are typically important factors for a family-friendly establishment, were marred by this lack of professionalism. It is disheartening to observe such behavior when dining with children, as it can significantly affect their overall impression of the restaurant.
In addition to the service concerns, the food quality did not meet our expectations. The dishes arrived late, and when they did, they were not up to the standard we have come to associate with Boston Pizza. The overall dining experience was further tarnished by these culinary shortcomings.
I sincerely hope that Boston Pizza takes these comments constructively and uses them as an opportunity for improvement. It is my belief that a restaurant's success is heavily reliant on the professionalism and attentiveness of its staff, as well as the consistent quality of its food.
Despite this disappointing experience, I remain open to revisiting Boston Pizza in the future, in the hope that they will take steps to rectify these issues and provide a more enjoyable dining experience for families and...
Read moreWhat a Bizarre experience...
We arrived and were greeted by a nice young man, and he told us he was going to wash up a table and seat us, which he did. We then waited over 10 minutes. Nobody came to speak to us at all. I waved down the man that sat us and he took our entire order. We didnt want to wait 10 or 15 minutes between placing orders for drinks, apps, and main. Another 10 minutes went by. No waitress.. no drinks. At this point I turned in the booth and just sat looking outward. After I caught the eye contact of around 3 or 4 different employees and nobody came over I finally got up annoyed and went near the kitchen and told them we were waiting 20 plus minutes for a simple drink. They apologized and asked if I placed an order yet, I said yes and went and sat back down. 10 minutes later... still no drinks. LOL. Now I was Hangry at this point, and our hungry and thirsty three year old was acting out because of all the waiting. The manager came and checked on us and once he saw that we had no drinks he immediately went and found some. Around 30 or 35 minutes later after arriving at the restaurant... we got drinks! Hooray! When they brought us our food they brought us two plates. Only 1 problem however was that there were 3 of us. The waitress who was too busy waiting on 2 other tables never did come and say hi to us, or greet us, or anything. So we basically went through the entire experience with nobody waiting on us. Looking around every other table that had waitresses attending them had drinks and foods. A couple that came in 25 minutes after us got their appies before we got drinks. The manger took care of us the rest of the way and paid for our entire...
