The first time I went here the girl working was amazing, answered all my questions, she was very helpful. Their maple smoked breakfast sausages are amazing. Today I went in, and there was a guy working. It felt as though I was an inconvenience to him as a paying customer. He was unconcerned that I was buying some meat, when I went up to the counter it took him a few minutes to finish what he was doing instead of putting it aside for the moment. I was the only person in here it appeared he had plenty of time to continue afterwards.

As I was paying the phone rang. Instead of asking them to hold for a moment to finish the sale he decided best to deal with them over the person paying for their products. No thank you, good byes, have a great days. Just rude. It would have received a 1 star if this was my first visit. But the first encounter with the young lady working gave it a 3 star. I am not sure however if I will be back again to an establishment that doesn’t appreciate my business. There is a lot of options out there...

Just visited Spragg's meat shop for the first time and it was a great visit. I've actually never been to a butcher's and the guy behind the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained the different cuts and how to cook them and was understanding about a budget. It was a very personable experience .The prices seem very good for the high quality of meat. I definitely learned about some cuts that I've never had before or cooked. It was a good eye opener if you like meat! Definitely better quality than the meat you'll see at Safeway or superstore. The only thing I've had so far is the beef jerky and it was amazing. Better than anything bought at 7-Eleven. Will be revisiting and...
