Read moreNot a good place to watch or listen for birds or wildlife. Too many off-leash dogs along the trails that are designated on leash. Owners are very rude and have encountered aggressive dogs. Do not believe posted open times. The website mentions it is open until 10:00pm every night. Some man with a flashlight shone it in my and my friend's faces and abruptly said the park was closed at 7:00pm! I did not see any sign anywhere that said that! Not only that, he did not identify himself. Probably not going back. Would not recommend this park unless you are a rude dog owner who thinks you own every park and let your dog destroy habitat off trail and annoy...
Read morePlease don't let the three stars deter you from visiting this quiet, clean, out of the way park. It hosts a playground, BBQ stands, picnic tables and a small covered sitting area as well as flush toilets and sinks. Not wheelchair accessible washrooms, unfortunately. Many interesting walking trails but wear bug spray or at least long pants and shirts to deter the mosquitoes. Off leash, fenced, dog area beside the park. Free parking, and lots of it.
