One of my favourite places in Halifax! The decoration, coffee, drinks, desserts, music, and overall vibe are all fascinating. I especially love the cannelé—it’s perfectly made. For drinks, I highly recommend the Peach Yuzu Latte and the Tokyo Fog. These are unique and not something you usually find on other cafĆ© menus. It’s wonderful to have such a thoughtfully curated spot in Halifax. I love the high-quality music they play, and the atmosphere is truly a friendly and inviting social space. I feel like I’m addicted to this place! It’s a really cool spot to visit, and I would definitely recommend it to all my friends. (Also, keep an eye out for the little puppy in the store—she’s absolutely adorable! She usually stays very quietly in the cabinet with the vinyl records. If you’re not looking carefully, she might seem like a tiny observer blending into the space—just like in the photo!

The drinks are absolutely delicious. There is not a lot of seating and the seating the do have is not the most comfortable but it is good enough that you can sit for a while and chat with friends or study. The music is great but it is a bit loud so if you like a quite atmosphere or have sensory issues with noise this might not be the place for you, however I really enjoyed the atmosphere for reading/studying because most of the music had a great beat that helped me stay focused.

This is the best Cafe in Halifax. Absolutely amazing, I love it, the only thing id want is more seating that's laptop friendly (uncomfortable to have laptop lower than me on some of the tables that are closer to the ground) but otherwise WOW. The atmosphere, the staff, it is such a vibe, it's genuinely so friendly and it feels like a place you come to get things done. I hope this cafe continues to grow and can even acquire more space to make their shop bigger. Amazing!

This is one of the coolest places I'd never heard of. It somehow manages to be one of those best-place-on-Earth holes in the wall while also being open to one of Halifax's busier streets. The coolest vibes of any cafe I've been in. There's a record on as you walk in (the coffee bar is also a dope DJ table??) and it's quiet and cozy. Everywhere you look there's hidden nostalgia pieces. I have yet to attend one, but I've heard they have awesome small music events. I got a tasty tea and their lattes look excellent. Give it a try next time you're near Barrington. I think...
