I am a regular customer so iv noticed changes happen in the last few years.

1. QUALITY/QUANTITY/PRICE :

Food quality has improved significantly since the new chefs were hired , portion has decreased a bit but the portion is still sufficient to fill your stomach . Overall, it’s still well worth the price . Very Authentic Indian taste , and spice level has always been absolutely perfect for me. (But worth asking the customer once, just incase some are sensitive.) - +2.5 / 3

2. CUSTOMER SUPPORT :

The previous front end receptionist (who now moved to Truro) was always timely and extremely efficient at her work and great customer support too . Was always happy when she managed my order because I was confident everything would be prompt and spontaneous with no issues. Her work ethic is absolutely insanely good.

A bit sad she moved to Truro now , but it’s all for the good - growth and development of the company.

The new staff who took her place , Ritu has also been doing a great job and great customer support too . Great Customer Service from her as well (I want to say even better than the old) but I have dealt with her only once , so far so good ! Keep it up! :) She was really sweet and clearly she cares about this new role. (will come back to this review later) .- +2.5

3. REFUNDS AND IMPROVEMENTS :

Masala delight values and cares for customers and listens to reviews and suggestions for improvement , which is really appreciated. - +2.5

Iv had only one issue so far in 2022 , and I contacted the owner , Libu who stated restaurant miscommunication and offered a refund on next visit , but I never availed it as I believe growth and development for the restaurant is more important than a single refund, but that was a good gesture. :)

The only 3-4 point deductions I want to do are as follows :

1. UBER ORDERS :

Whenever I make an Uber order and request for utensils , and mark what I need in the notes section (special instructions) , I don’t always get them when delivered home . This usually happens in the evening time. = -1

2. PROACTIVENESS :

While most staff are very efficient , there has been a staff in the past that catered to the customer slow. = -1

3. RESPONSE TIME :

Sometimes the wait time for a customer for waiting for someone to attend to them for billing , placing order , getting water and cutleries , etc .takes too long - things need to speed up a bit . -1

4. VARIETY :

Variety is better than most restaurants but still would prefer more like Idli, Upma, Pav Bhaji , Chaats, etc . which you get in Adda and other places. So this inturn forces me to pick restaurants based on what I feel like eating for that day. -0.5

5. ENVIRONMENT :

The environment could be improved . It’s hard to eat in a place where there is mice running around . I know Halifax is filled with this and it’s hard to manage, so I won’t deduct any point for this.
