I cannot say enough good things about my experience! This was my first time buying any sort of jewellery or having rings resized. Laura made it so incredibly easy and explained everything including what I could expect to spend and recommendations for longevity and quality of the rings she was working on with us. First ring I brought to her was a $75 ring from a thrift store that she resized and added a stone to, turned out absolutely beautiful (big flashy looking one). The second ring was very important to my fiancé and I it was her great great grandmothers ring. Laura completely redesigned her ring to be more sturdy and better for everyday use (flower shaped one). The redesign completely blew us both away, essentially a fully custom new ring with all the stones from great great grandmas old ring. Price for everything was incredibly reasonable and Laura did a wonderful job of customer service, making us feel so comfortable while adhering to covid cautious measures. After a “not-so-great” experience at another jeweller, John & Laura came to our rescue! The first spot we were working with told us the ring would be ready at 6-8 weeks but after 8 weeks with a sub-par render, we knew we had to find someone else. We reached out to John & Laura with some inspo photos and a description of what we were looking for, and within a few days, they had an almost 100% bang on render for us that only needed some minor changes. After about 3-4 weeks, the ring was ready for pick up and it was so much more beautiful than we could’ve ever imagined. We are so happy with it and with the quality of service we received.
