1. He is a genuinely nice guy! He was friendly with my kids and made them laugh. Then, after realizing it was our first night out as a family in 5 weeks because my husband has been in the hospital here in a Kelowna for that long, he wouldn’t accept any payment. He didn’t even know that we live 7 hours away and this was the kids first time seeing their Dad in over a month. He is a top-notch fellow and went above-and-beyond for us.
2. His communication was amazing. He was already out on a call when I called, and he gave me a realistic expectation of when he’d arrive. Once completing that call, he texted and called to confirm he was on his way.
3. He was fast! He absolutely knew what he was doing and got the job done quickly while continuing to be friendly and warm.
4. He came after hours with no complaint.

We were extremely impressed with Lakeside Lock and Safe. Our elderly neighbour was locked out of his house late in the evening. We contacted John at Lakeside after 10:00pm. He came out right away, opened the locked door within minutes and resolved the problem. Our neighbour had had a harrowing day at the dentist and hospital and desperately wanted to go home. John was incredibly understanding and compassionate, opening the lock before coming back to our house where our neighbour was staying. He helped us escort our neighbour home, gave him a discount on the fee and made sure he had a key available so the problem didn't happen again. I just have to start with WOW, was I ever impressed. From the very beginning of our communication, John always responded promptly. I had a safe that was locked open. John came out to look at it and I was advised that it was not really worth repairing. My husband and I had already talked about that very idea. John informed me of other types of safes, what he thought might work best for us, and the bonus . . . he did not charge us for the call out!!! You certainly do not see that type of service these days.
