South St. Burger — Restaurant in Kelowna

Over a year ago, my daughter had ordered a hamburger meal and paid to have it picked up and delivered to our home. The burger arrived with no Patty in it. When I got home that evening, I went back to the store and had them remake the burger. I got home and once again, there was no burger Patty in the hamburger. by now the restaurant was closed. I went in the first thing the next morning, and the manager was so rude and obnoxious that he shoved money in my face. All I wanted was for them to make the order correct which my daughter had ordered not once but twice. South Street burger did remake my daughter her burger for the third time and it was correct but that is all that they compensated her for. She had ordered a meal with french fries and a drink and they could not even be bothered to give her another set of french fries or a drink. Or how about compensating her for all the hassle and inconvenience that this caused her And compensate her with a gift!. I will never go back to South Street burger in Kelowna again and I have shared this experience with many people. The restaurant is horribly managed if this is how they are going to treat...

My experiences at this burger shop have consistently left me disappointed. Despite the delectable food they serve, the atmosphere created by the elderly lady who seems to be the manager is truly off-putting. Her perpetual anger casts a dark cloud over the entire establishment, and the staff appear to be in a constant state of anxiety when she's around.

During her absence, I witnessed a complete transformation in the staff's demeanor. They were friendly, relaxed, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. This contrast is jarring and raises concerns about the work environment.

On two separate occasions when the manager was present, I couldn't help but notice the unease of the employee preparing my burger. It's disheartening to see someone so scared while handling my food. Moreover, the manager's constant scrutiny of my meal made me question the quality and hygiene standards of the kitchen.

Overall, the exceptional taste of the burgers is overshadowed by the oppressive atmosphere created by the manager. It's a shame that such great food is marred by the uncomfortable experience, leaving me with a lingering sense of...

This place took 27 minutes to process our order on a quiet night. Two burgers and two poutines. We finally approached to get a refund so we could do somewhere else because our 4 year old was going stir crazy. They denied it and said we could take it gone with us, it's almost ready.

This is the second attempt to dine here,both disappointing.

Cashier came over later and apologized and offered a coupon. Appreciate the apology

There was a single person that was in front of us ordering and no visibility of third party service providers coming in. In fact two other parties came in after us and one essentially was served some of the food for which we were waiting for (bracket). It was 7:00 p.m. which was a slow time period but also my hamburger was missing half of the customized ingredients that I had ordered.

If you're not willing to accept full responsibility and are trying to find ways to defend your actions you won't succeed.
