Boarding house for refugees. They don't care they will rent a two bedroom out to a whole group of 10. The bed beg and cockroach infestation has never been handled properly. They will tell they do.... But why has it been there for more than 20 years? Tried to get multiple things fixed months before I moved out and no response besides "yeah we will get to it"... Just to have them try to come after me for all the damages THEY caused when I left. Beware of Vince (resident managers husband) being aggressive to the point of me being ready to defend myself physically. They will walk into your unit without notice, verbally assault you and Damages your unit when replacing utilities that don't work.
If you want a stressful year and to waste a bunch of money, go ahead. But you can go get approved for a much much nicer place for the same price.
Be prepared to waste money on furniture, have bugs crawl on your face while you sleep, cockracoes in your utensil tray and pet food, ontop of to have zero care and commitment from management.
A week after I moved out they had my unit up for sale for 1900 after I was paying 1300 and it was full of bed bugs, cockroaches and damages? ..i expect at least some morals with them but no. I live in a condo worth a million dollars now and I'm paying 50$ more...
Read moreI am looking for a place to rent and I contacted Highpoint Kitchener. I started receiving emails from different people for the same unit. When requested for pictures, I received pictures of the unit which was still occupied. When asked for pictures on how I would receive it when I plan to move in. I got a response saying that they don't know when the current tenants will be moving out. My question is how come you make an apartment available for applicants when you don't even know if the current tenants would move out? When I asked the same question to them, the response I received is "Unfortunately, the suite has just now been rented". A place that still had Occupants suddenly got rented without even knowing when the current tenants would move out. Brilliant. I am genuinely happy that I didn't rent a place there. If this is how they treat possible tenants, I can imagine how they would be treating residents. Now when I see the reviews posted by others in this page, it does make a...
Read moreWelcome to heaven of bedbugs, and indifferent management. I had bedbug issues from the day I moved into 16 Cedarwoods Crescent, Kitchener. I notified management immediately, they told me that there was no bed bug history in my apartement (Lie ! Lie !! Lie !!!) and reacted as if I was the one who carried bed bug into the apartment. All they did was call the pest control and did spray couple of times. Later I found from pest control that they had been spraying in that Unit since a long time back. As things worse, the management agreed to break the lease contract and let me move out of the apartment, only for them to charge me $300 for breaking contract. I reminded them of whole scenario and how they proposed to break contract and let us move out, but all in vain. They just started ignoring everything. Insensitive, Indifferent, and lier management. This place doesn't even deserve one star, Google should provide options for zero or negative star. Avoid this place...
