I think I received the worst service of my life here. I literally could not believe what was happening. This is basically the only place that can fix fujifilm cameras because fujifilm doesn't sell their parts. So I think they don't care about the service because they are a monopoly. I brought my $800 camera in for repairs and it was a nightmare dealing with these people. I was told it would take 7 business days just to get the estimate but after twice this time had passed no one had gotten back to me. I had to follow up and the employee told me I would get an e-mail by the end of the next day of the estimate. The next day comes and goes and no e-mail of course. So I had to follow up a second time and the employee told me sorry actually wait until this week is done and then follow up with me on Friday. So I had to follow up a third time and it felt like I was chasing them, begging them to send me an estimate. When I followed up the third time I was sent a very generic e-mail estimate that was not specific to the repairs that I needed to get done. I am convinced they didn't even examine my camera, they just sent me a generic estimate to shut me up. And the estimate wasn't even an estimate!!! It was the cost to replace the entire camera!! and the damages were minor!! So I had to follow up a fourth time to ask the specific details of why I couldn't just get the estimate to actually repair my camera and not replace it. The employee said he would get back to me tomorrow with details and of course he never did. So I had to follow up a fifth time with him, and he gave me some nonsense generic excuse that didn't make any sense because if what he said was true, then no one would ever be able to repair their cameras, everyone would just have to buy a new one. Basically I have an unfixed camera and I'm super unhappy and I really hate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a used Fujifilm X-E2 body on Facebook marketplace that ended up being defective and seller went dark after I tried to reach out on several occasions realizing soon after that he had scammed me out of 650$. I tried to reach out to Facebook, the police and even my bank to stop the e-transfer but no one cared. I was simply told ābuyer bewareāā¦
I tried to research how to repair the multiple issues myself but it was recommended to send the body to Fuji to avoid any additional damage.
I then filled out the repair form and shipped the defective camera to Fuji Canada in Toronto.
I dealt with Diego from day one (multiple calls and emails back and forth trying to find the best outcome for me). Diego went above and beyond and I canāt thank him enough for all the time spent on my case and how incredibly helpful and kind he was. Fuji Canada is very lucky to have him!
I was diagnosed with a terminal condition forcing me to go on long term disability with a fixed monthly income. I wanted to take up photography as a form of therapy and was devastated when I realized that I had been scammed as this was a great deal of Money for me.
Diego went through multiple options to help put a camera in my hands and in the end we decided the best route was to repair this 12 year old camera. So many parts needing to be replaced and Diego did it the most cost effective way possible while continually consulting with the camera techs to find alternate options.
Due to the time Diego took with me and the level of empathy and respect he showed me, I will always be a huge champion of Fujifilm Canada and their commitment to their clients, especially today where customer service seems to be a thing of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove their products, disappointed by their customer service. Had a pretty terrible time dealing with getting my camera fixed. Their websites ācontact use feature doesnāt seem to be monitored, I filled out an inquiry through their websites portal and had gotten no replies. I later found out they have an email for repairs and I contacted them directly, finally, a warm reply addressing my problem. Through a few back and forth emails with my sensor problem, i dropped off my camera with them in person, and Iām not sure why, it was so difficult to get a proper reply to my question about my repair, sometimes I would follow up and get slow replies, or I would send files to them in regard to my repairs and they would say they didnāt see it. Tried calling them because Iām lost as to what I should do next and this is already 2-3 weeks in, and I still have no clue if Iām supposed to pay first, or wait, or anything. Finally got in touch with the person who Iāve been emailing and I was greeted with a very passive aggressive attitude, as if Iām dumb or something, and they straight up told me not to call in looking for specific employees for repairs. I mean, fair, I really didnāt want to call in looking for specific people, but I had no choice because they were not replying to my emails, and their co-worker said they have no access to my email threads either. anyways, finally got my camera back and the final costs of getting my pixel remapped was almost doubled than what I was originally told to be, which is a bit frustrating, but itās the only place that I can get my camera fixed, so I have no choice but to comply... Fuji makes great cameras, but they really need to step...
