First, I want to say I ordered the meatball sandwich and tomato bisque. It was delicious. Great job with the food. It was yummy. The staff that picked up my call was also very nice. The food was on time. Secondly, I have no relation to this business but here I go. I see some older reviews saying food takes too long, okay valid. Some reviews are reasonable and understandable with less than 5 stars. BUT some 3-4 star reviews are unfair. They say food was delicious, had a great time, staff made up for any issues by giving something extra and apologizing. But they still kept review at 3 stars?? You admit food was good, staff made effort to make you happy. But they still didn’t earn your 5 stars? What more would you have them do?One says food was good, portion was large and they couldn’t eat it all in one sitting but they gave 4 stars. If the food was delicious and portion was large and you didn’t make any reference to any issues then what lacked that you didn’t give 5 stars. It makes a difference. one says staff had issue with the oven and didn’t confess to it right away. Staff then apologized. served delicious food and gave free dessert. The nerve, the gall. You admitted the food was delicious, staff apologize, gave free dessert but you left the review at 3 stars? You got FREE dessert and delicious food and an apology but it still didn’t make a difference? Come on people let’s be realistic. One says omg the food was SO good but the price is high. You enjoyed the food but didnt want to pay it’s worth? you want delicious restaurant food at McDonald’s prices?? A meal at McDonald’s can come up to 15$ now. They charged me 21.47 for their meatball sandwich which includes tomato bisque. Lets be fair. another one left a review of 4 stars cause she said SHES not even perfect? What??? Don’t do that. What does that even mean? This is someone’s business, someone’s life, someone’s hard work. From the reviews it seems they always try to make up for any issues and then apologize. Don’t give shady reviews because they didn’t lay a red carpet out and shine your shoes while you ate. Be fair. The food was good, the staff was courteous. They apologized if something lacked and tried to make up for it by giving something extra. So be fair. Again, I have no relation to this business I just found some reviews very petty...

To call this a “Neapolitan” pizza is a crime against humanity and deserves an apology to all Italians.

Clearly seen in my picture the dough is not right as they used the wrong flour and it was definitely not 00 “as advertised”. Their oven is not hot enough. They failed at charring the bottom. Plus the dough was still raw and soggy in certain areas; certainly improperly cooked going back to the inadequate oven temperature point I made earlier and as well being over doused in olive oil causing the sogginess. To add to this, the arugula has seen better days and was not fresh, as if they used it on its expiry date. And the prosciutto, how can you go so wrong here? It’s as if they left the prosciutto on the counter for a few days before adding on the pizza, beyond stale and bitter. And I feel scammed, if even the prosciutto was right how can you go so minuscule on the quantity? There’s less than 30 grams of meat on this $35+ pizza that’s supposed to feed 4 people!!

And as if this wasn’t an insult to injury already my pizza arrived cold. I live 3 kilometres from this location.

But I am glad Uber refunded my order and if you guys want to continue making pizza please drop the “Neapolitan” name from your menu; this pizza doesn’t deserve that kind of stature.

Honestly hope your kitchen staff will visit Italy one day and learn what true Neapolitan pizza is like.

At this point you’re better off ordering from Dominos or Little Ceaser’s as that’s how low calibre...

I’ve been wanting to try Famoso for a while, but with one of their locations now closed, we decided to check out this one.

Upon arrival, the vibe was okay, but it didn’t have that “wow” factor. It felt pretty standard with nothing that stood out, though I did love the pictures of Sofia Loren on the walls — a nice touch. We came specifically to try the Famoso Neapolitan pizza.

We ordered the special: fungi pizza and Parmesan wings. Both dishes looked great.

The pizza, however, was a bit bland. I think it could’ve used more flavor, perhaps with the mushrooms sautéed in herbs and garlic, and a heavier sprinkle of Parmesan. The dough was light and pleasant, and with a drizzle of olive oil (which we requested), it added a bit more flavor, though still not quite enough to elevate it.

The wings had great flavor, but they were slightly undercooked. I noticed the drumettes were different sizes, which made it hard to cook them evenly. While I ate them, my husband couldn’t finish his because of the undercooking.

I also had a mimosa, but unfortunately, you could taste the bad wine in it — not great.

Drinks in general were fine, though nothing stood out.

The hostess and server were great — very attentive and friendly, which definitely made the experience better.

This location is a bit out of the way, and considering the overall experience — with the food not quite hitting top-tier expectations and the lack of a “wow” factor — we’re not sure if...

This is my new favourite spot in Mississauga for authentic Italian pizza. It's sooo good! It's an open concept look so you can see how they're making in their 900 degree oven and the place has a classic diner feel and look to it which makes it inviting. They have more Italian dishes of course other than the pizzas, if you wanna try something else but their pizzas is what I would go for each time because a lot the ingredients are fresh and imported direct from Italy! All in all, this is a great new food joint to add to Mississauga. Highly recommended and I would suggest calling in ahead of time for reservations becuase this place will be packed on the weekends. Definitely coming here again! To the owner : This is a really cool place you set up and hearing you tell the story behind it was so nice. A friend of mine wants to do a food series on YouTube eventually where we check out restaurants and even street food and food trucks and give a review at the end but also talk about the spots themselves and how the dishes are made. After hearing how passionate you were about making a pizza and about opening this spot, I'd love to potentially film an episode here, whenever my friend decides to start the series.
