WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! The manager should not have a job in customer service at all!!!!!
My daughter very politely asked the âmanagerâ the price of the neck fan, so which she replied then prices are thereâ I said no they arenât and she said âall the prices are there, maybe itâs $19.99â I responded by saying no the price isnât there or she wouldnât have asked. She then goes on to say âwell Iâm telling you the price is $19.99â without even scanning...I asked her to scan to confirm which she did while muttering, âI told you what the price was already, you see? Itâs $19.99â. Brushing off this attitude we continued on to wait to be served while at the counter...no one was in front of us....as she asked for our number to which we declined (we didnât know what it was for, and as the âmanagerâ she should have informed us) turns out if was for the âinsider clubâ....as many of the prices throughout the store arenât prices that would be at the cash register unless youâre a part of the insider club...interesting to say the least...but anyway after questioning the pricing she proceeded to say âwell I asked you if you had a number with us didnât I?â...she then left from behind the counter to put items back and greet other customers, (while in the midst of checking us out at the register) when she finally came back we bought the 2 items (it took 10 mins for her to complete the sale) after the sale we remarked at how rude she was and she proceeded to yell that she wasnât and when asked for the higher up/owners information she scoffed, refusing to give the information and said âjust make sure you tell them what I said!â From then derogatory words were exchanged from both sides (something I pride myself on not partaking in but she was outstandingly rude) the argument ended on the note of her actually leaving the store to follow after us telling us to shut up....how someone like this made it to a managerial position is beyond me. She should be removed and shouldnât be hired in any customer service...
Read moreToday I had the worse customer experience and the best. I had curbside pick up order a remote light up car from Erin Mills location. The associate there only had red, which I wouldnt have purchased as I needed a different color. I was advised I could check with Square one for a different color to exchange. Upon calling and speaking to the manager, Donna, I had the most disrespectful experience. She explained during lockdown they are not doing any exchanges or returns. I said ok. Can I just buy the color I want and when lockdown is lifted, can I return the red one with full refund. She in turn advised the company only offers exchanges or store credit. I asked for an exception under these circumstances as I would never have bought the red one if we were able to shop in person. She simple told me it wasnt her fault and she couldn't do anything. I pressed further for the exception and she basically said who am I to ask for an exception when the province is under a state of emergency. Who am I?? How rude!! I am a paying customer who is supporting your employment during this state of emergency! She continuously claim it wasnt her fault and never offered any solutions at all.
She could've politely suggest me to call Erin Mills back or offer to call instead to explain she couldnt exchange for me. Donna really needs to be sympathetic and work on her customer service skills.
Here is an example to learn from DONNA ...
I called Erin mills back and explained what happened with square one. The associate, without prompting, quickly offered a solution. He suggested he will call Dixie location to see if they have the color I wanted and since it's on his way home ... he will pick it up and bring back to Erin Mills so I can switch for the right color tomorrow. WOW! What a complete 180 in this experience. DONNA, you need to take a lesson or two from your colleague on customer service.
I really hope you will learn and better...
Read moreI was in the store on August 20, 2016 at around 3:30pm and I was speaking to one of the employees who was helpful until this older female employee, who seemed to be in charge, came in and was extremely rude to me and did not respect what I was saying. I wanted to exchange my product and she said it was final sale even though it was not indicated anywhere on my receipt and no one informed me at the time of my purchase. My receipt clearly said I had 30 days for an exchange. They ended up giving me a store credit because the product I needed was not available in the right size. Throughout the entire conversation she was extremely rude to me even though I was nice to her. She told me that she "doesn't care to order" the product for me because it would have been a straight exchange and she wanted me to purchase a more expensive item instead. I asked her for a recommendation on what I should purchase and she said she "doesn't care if they didn't have my size and that I can contact head office if I didn't like what she was saying." It was a horrible experience and I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I work in retail and I am shocked that someone like her is allowed to work in a store and can talk to customers in such a terrible way. I will never go...
