Terrible experience TWICE!!!! I came to O Salon for the first time less than two months ago to colour my grey roots for the very first time. My natural hair is a chocolate brown. The hair dresser/colourist Gladys really messed it up and gave me ugly light reddish roots that didn’t match my natural hair colour at all. She tried toning it - didn’t make a difference. She tried a second time - still terrible. 3 hours later another hair dresser came over to consult and after I showed her a picture I just took days before, she agreed that this was not close to my colour and Gladys had to restart the colour all over again with a darker shade. So 5 hours later I left with the right colour and despite the bad experience I left over a 40% tip for her time. I asked for the number/name of the colour she used the second time with the intention to come back to do my roots from then on. She didn’t want to tell me the colour and said it was marked on my file. So now, 7 weeks later, I booked a roots touch up. I walked in and the same hair dresser/colourist Gladys didn’t recognize me - not even after retelling her what happened less than two months ago! Nothing about me has changed either. She asked what I wanted to do and I said my roots - you’re supposed to have the colour on file. She checked the computer and then disappeared to the back - no colour on file. When she came back empty handed and shrugging I just got up and walked out. What a terrible salon - possibly the worst I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favour and go to a salon where the colourists know how to match the most basic natural brown and they respect their clientele enough to remember you less than two months later after spending 5 hours with you. But above all- a salon that doesn’t lie about keeping files. I just wasted my whole morning driving here from Verdun for nothing but absolute incompetence! UPDATE: The response below from the owner is a complete lie to save face. It's true I couldn't remember my hairdresser's name when I called to make the appointment as I'm terrible with names but I asked on the phone for the same hairdresser. When I arrived, she was the only person at the salon and she didn't recognize me at all - despite spending over 5 hours with me 7 weeks ago. That is not the same as not remembering a name... so this whole story he made up now that "they" asked me who I saw when I was there to find my file is all made-up lies to save face for their incompetence. I waited for 5 minutes while Gladys, the very same hairdresser I saw my first time, checked the front computer, couldn't find "my file" and went in the back and came back with no file. There was no further effort made to find it - there was no "we" like the owner is lying about - there was only Gladys there and only Gladys looking and she came back empty handed and shrugged. That is why I got up and left. The owner was not there - I asked. So this owner is a liar, is gaslighting and above all is super unprofessional to make up all these lies - just own up to your mistakes and apologize when you waste people's time and have incompetent staff. Don't go to this...

Read moreIt was a first time here for me and my partner after a long time of not getting a professional haircut. We called to book the appointment, pleasant and easy.
The salon was lovely and inviting. They even had these comfortable wool slippers for you to change into. Waited just a little, but I’m always prepared to when I’m going for a haircut. I see some complaints about waiting and such.. As someone who have been to many hair salons in different countries, I think we all know that delays can happen sometimes in any services, so try to go on a more relaxing day and prepare for additional time for yourself.
On to my haircut, Mélodie was my hairstylist. She got me some cute bangs and colored my hair to cover my grays. Loved the results! On top of that, she was so nice to talk to — I really enjoyed our inspiring chats. Will definitely be back for my next haircut. ❤️
Thanks...
