Would not reccomend to anybody. The initial day of the sale was amazing. The owner and employees were very engaged and we felt very comfortable with purchasing our first hot tub from Manchesters. With a large purchase like this it was important to us to go with what we thought was a reputable business. During our initial conversation, we went over all of our concerns regarding the hot tub- and they were all quickly put at ease with the owner. We were told that the hot tub would heat in 48hrs, could be plugged into a regular outlet, $20 bucks a month in hydro, and the owner was so nice to let us know that the hot tub would be delivered mid week and we would receive a few complimentary scents for purchasing during trade show weekend. He asked us to call Monday am to confirm delivery.
Monday am rolls around and itâs like a switch shut off. Owner had no idea who we were, was a bit snarky when we kindly asked when the hot tub would be delivered Wednesday, said he would call me back with a time in a few minutes. Didnât get a call back- so I called back yet again Tuesday, again questioned who we were, and said he would call back in âa few minutesâ I mentioned that he did not call us back the previous day and he said his delivery drivers were sick. Needless to say the hot tub was delivered Friday am. It was plugged in, Sat am still was not even close to temp. Called Manchesterâs, even though we spoke to the owner for the fourth time- still didnât know who we were, shocker. He assured that it would be heated by Sunday al and Iâd not he would send someone out right away.
Sunday morning rolls around, hot tub not to temp itâs actually dropping temp. He used the excuse of it being Sunday and not being able to send someone out. Questioned as to why he would be the one to suggest sending someone Sunday. Anyways, he sends a delivery driver out Sunday.. we asked if he could bring the screws for the lid which they said they forgot to bring, the scents and the instruction sheet for the chemicals which they also said they forgot to bring. Didnât bring any of it lol.
Anyways, the delivery driver obviously didnât know how to fix the hot tub, so he left. We finally got a teach out there the following Thursday. Now with the hot tub jets running for 6 days at this point and still not to temp. Tech said itâs because we had it plugged into the wall and suggested for us to get it hard wired. Which costs 3k.
Anyways, aside from all of that, here we are over 1 month later, $440 hydro bill for the jets constantly running, having to use hot water from the house to get the hot tub to temp finally. Chemicals kept showing off balances, checked expiration date on the chemicals we purchased, bromine expired in 2013âŚ. Shocker. Contacted Manchesters three times and keeps deflecting.
Wasnât going to write a review because weâre worried that with the hot tub potentially having issues they would give bad customer service, but at this point anythingâs better than what we have experienced....

The quality of the furniture at Manchester Sleep Centre is absolutely outstanding. Every piece on the showroom floor was beautifully made, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed. I was especially impressed with the craftsmanship of the bed frames and the luxurious feel of the mattresses. I ended up purchasing a new mattress and a gorgeous upholstered bed frame, and I couldnât be happier with the results. My sleep has drastically improved since making the switch, and my bedroom now feels like a peaceful retreat.
I also brought my father into the store, as he was looking to purchase a new chair for his living room. He had the exact same experienceânothing but positive. The staff treated him with such kindness and patience, taking the time to understand his needs and mobility concerns. They helped him find the perfect chair that offered both comfort and support, and heâs been thrilled with his purchase ever since. He hasnât stopped talking about how well he was treated and how great the chair feels.
Delivery for both of our purchases was smooth and timely. The delivery team was courteous, efficient, and handled everything with care. They set everything up just the way we wanted it and made sure everything was in perfect condition before leaving. That level of professionalism really left a lasting impression.
Overall, I canât recommend Manchester Sleep Centre highly enough. Whether youâre looking for a new mattress, upgrading your bedroom furniture, or helping a loved one find the perfect piece, this is the place to go. Their incredible customer service, welcoming environment, and top-tier product quality make them a true standout. Both my father and I had such a wonderful experience, and weâll definitely be returning...

Since the moment we walked into their store, Chad took care of us like any consummate professional should. His product acumen was outstanding and even more impressive were his charisma and ability to level-set our expectations about what we were actually getting ourselves into with a hot tub purchase.
Honesty goes a long way, and Chad was sure to temper our enthusiasm with real considerations and we happily made the decision to engage and become hot-tubbers.
By the time we had readied our yard for the tub, winter had just come... our tub was delivered at the end of the business day, with our electrician set to come the next morning. After delivery Chad surprised us by coming back and giving us a space heater for the tub, as he was concerned that any moisture remaining from quality assurance testing in manufacturing might freeze and damage the tub. He bought us a new space heater unprompted and delivered it to us.
These guys have come back a couple times to get the tub adjusted, to put our cover arm on, and each time I remain impressed by their professionalism and follow thru. Haven't had too many better retail experiences in North Bay. Shane knows how to hire good folks, and Chad definitely knows how to value the client.
