I wish I could give them a 0 star rating. My wife and I purchased a stove and had it delivered by their sub contracted home delivery service. The original stove showed up defective. After arguing with the delivery personnel we were able to make arrangements for a replacement. When the replacement came, the driver was rude to my wife and forgot to leave us the knobs for the stove. After being told we would receive new knobs and waiting 10 days, we found out there are no knobs available for this stove, at all! So again I had to go into the store where we made arrangements for a completely different stove to be exchanged. The delivery team gave us a date and time, but when that time came, they just decided to reschedule without contacting us and leaving us waiting for our stove. Again, I had to go into the store to deal with this matter as there is no direct line to call the store when there is an issue. I gave them instructions to have the new stove brought to the store so I could personally swap the stoves as I've lost all faith in their delivery service. They couldn't even manage to get this done properly. So now I have to wait two more days for a delivery I don't even want and take time off work to make sure the product is not defective yet again. The absolute worst service I have received from a retailer in my entire life. Best buy should be ashamed of the delivery service that they have contracted, they have no control over the delivery personnel, the scheduling or dealing with any issues as they arise. Everyone that's in the store is basically just glorified cashiers. We will never be buying from this...
Read moreOur company bought 2 new iphones in May 2016. 2 months later one of them had a hardware malfunction and all data was lost. Upsetting enough but luckily (so we thought...) we had purchased the Geek Squad extra insurance. Well, the store couldn't replace the phone, it had to be sent back to the Geek Squad. We waited 3 business days to receive the new promised phone from them but all we got was an email saying they had none in stock and we could just pick on up at any Best Buy ONCE we received the e-card which should take 2 to 3 business days to arrive by email. Now into the 6th day without our business phone we receive the email. Of course the Chatham store has none of these phones in stock so after a slightly heated phone call they agreed to look into other stores and actually found one in Windsor. A day later we are told to come pick up the phone anytime after 6pm that day. We arrive at 7:30pm and there is no phone. The fact that we had now been without our phone for a full week was bad enough, the fact that it takes 30min for us to get to the store and had done the trip twice now for nothing is another. To add insult to injury the manager tells us the phone isn't there yet because the driver stopped somewhere to play Pokemon Go!!! The conclusion of this ridiculous tale goes something like this. A friend who does large quantity business with the store when in to straighten the situation out and the phone was found, and we received it that night. Read moreI went in the store last night to look for stereo speakers. They actually have a great selection. I was very surprised by how many people they had working. You would think they would be tripping over themselves to help me. I spent an hour and got 0 help. I approached a couple of people who said they would help out when they were free I guess they meant another day. Everyone else were standing around socializing and even goofing around. No wonder some of the prices are so high they pay all these sales people to stand around and not work. I havent been to a best buy in many years so I can't say if this is the norm everywhere. I am surprised of how many speakers they had. I didn't know that was something they really dealt with. I hate writing these things but when I waste an hour of my life and they don't care about a sale that big what is the world coming to. If this store doesn't care about its customers I thought people should be aware. There were so many sales people there. A few of those guys there looked like they were better than everyone else and had pure attitude. Here we are a few days before Christmas and it should have been warm and inviting. I'm a family man and could have spent thousands for my kids if they had wowed me with helping me with the speakers. Now they lost a customer for life. I couldn't even find a phone number to talk to a manager. Talk about impersonal. I can go to Costco and they have hundreds of people there and they are always pleasant and you can always find someone...
