Horrendous experience. Had a new fridge delivered in JUNE. They scratched they scratched the new fridge!! They damaged my kitchen floor, damaged terrazzo floors and several walls in the common areas of the condo building, dragged the old and new fridge along the floors. They left parts of the old fridge that were bouncing off the fridge as they banged it going down the steps, leaving parts strewn in the garden. The banging was so loud people (WITNESSES) were coming onto their balconies bewildered and complaining to me about the noise. Here we are, almost 7 months later, and still NO compensation (I had to pay $ 900 myself to condo to have the walls patched up and painted as we couldn't leave them like that). Given conflicting information by Leon's delivery management....who will likely try to distort/twist the facts with their response to this review. The delivery crew were also defiant and rude when I asked them to stop dragging the old fridge along the floors. They also used a brand new exterior staircase that I had specifically told them (and showed them) NOT to use. I also mentioned to them to remove the doors of the old fridge before taking it down the stairwell, as I knew it was going to get jammed in the stairwell......they didn't listen, and then it scraped even more walls as they tried to unwedge from between the walls and the stairwell bannisters. The poor treatment and the TOTAL RUNAROUND I received from their management team was infuriating. They kept on telling me that "we told you an inspection was required and a meeting with property manager".....They had done 1 inspection way back and I was never told about a 2nd one!! . The delivery managers emails to me said 'there's just 1 last step......an inspection (no mention of property manager again). We subsequently agreed to property manager visit ( MONTHS AGO, AND STILL NO DECISION/COMPENSATION!!!) The man shows up basically trying to insinuate that we couldn't prove they caused the damage , and went on and on about us not having agreed to a property manager visit. I explained that I NEVER received a follow-up request email from Leon's regarding this, to set up a date (back in July!!!!). I had initially didnt want to involve our new property manager as we had already overwhelmed him with other issues in our building. I was never told that they weren't going to be able to proceed without a property manager meeting!!! In fact, as I already stated, I was sent an email stating that there was only ONE other outstanding thing - another inspection. NO mention that there was an outstanding property management visit.....and in the end, that viait amounted to nothing. Read moreI just moved to Chatham and was looking for a bedroom set. Had 3 stores in town to choose from and settled on Leon's. One had no service staff to talk to, so left pretty quickly. Another one had great customer service but the set I selected had a hefty delivery charge. Actually, Leon's was the first store I visited and was immediately approached by a wonderful young lady and after I explained to her my needs, she immediately showed me several sets that checked all my boxes and even included delivery. My good fortune was meeting Meghan Pettipiece. Her great attitude and friendly demeanor made me realize I would probably buy from her after I checked the other two stores. She understood completely and prepared a quote for me. The next morning I visited the two stores mentioned above and returned to Meg by the early afternoon. She came right over and we placed an order for delivery within a few days. The next day she called and advised that I had missed one piece of the set. Silly me. She added that to the order. A few days later, the store called and gave me a 3 hour window to expect delivery. The truck showed up on time, the crew brought in the set, assembled it, cleaned up and left all within a half hour.
I was completely satisfied by Meg, the staff, the crew and the bedroom set.
Top notch service, and I highly recommend Leon's, especially this store and definitely Meg.

Read moreWe purchased a portable dishwasher online during covid on May 8. It was a special order they told us so it wouldn't be in until the beginning of July which is fine. But it is now almost the start of August. Nearly 3 months and still waiting to get what we paid for is unacceptable. This was our first and last time ever dealing with leons. Update... So it's now September 18th and we just called to check the status of our order since we haven't heard anything since September 12 when they told us it shipped out and they would let us know the second it came through the door. Clearly not the case, cause we had to call them to find out its been sitting there waiting for us. My wife had requested free delivery for the inconvenience of having to waiting so long, and was told we would have to wait until the 20th to speak with the manager due to it being out of town delivery that costs $90. My thoughts are, I don't care what it costs you....this has been the worst ever customer experience. I honestly thought for awhile that this company was going to go bankrupt and close shops in Canada. It was that bad... Never again Leon's. Lost a customer for life and...
