What a great getaway spot in any season! The sound of the falls is so hypnotizing you'll completely lose all track of time. Sitting on the retaining walls or wandering down by the waterside, the views are great. Watch people fishing (or throw your own line in the water) or bring along a picnic lunch. This is an easy two block walk from downtown Paris. Instead of parking, leave your car in town and walk over. Grab a drink at Dog Eared Café and...

The river has some great greenery on both sides, which I'm sure will be a treat for the eyes...

It was winter when we came over but the weather was just perfect, not too cold. The sound of water falling in the dam perfectly creates a calming effect on your body which makes you appreciate more the beauty of nature. Would love to come back and see how it looks like when the trees...

Lovely spot with a scenic trail all along the Grand River! One side leads you to the William St. bridge in downtown Paris from where you can click some great pics with the dam in the background! The river has some great greenery on both sides, which I'm sure will be a treat for the eyes in fall, too.
