This is a good restaurant. I had a day off so my wife and I decided to take a day trip to Paris. Who knew that the town was so busy and reservations were required on a weekday at 2pm? All of the riverside restaurants were packed and had no availability.

edit, however, had plenty of space, perhaps because there was no view of the Grand and this is more of what I had expected after the typical lunch hour rush.

Our server was friendly and attentive and the outdoor patio where we sat was nicely shaded from the afternoon sun, and despite being next to a parking lot, felt quite cozy with plenty of greenery to soften the view and provide some separation and privacy.

The food was well prepared. I ordered the wild mushroom gnocchi and my wife had the fish and chips, both of which I enjoyed. Service was a bit slow, especially considering that the restaurant was not busy when we visited. There were only two other tables occupied when we arrived (and no one that we could see inside when we passed through to the patio), so the kitchen should not have been busy. Fortunately, we were in no rush and were happy to enjoy each other's company on a patio during a pleasant afternoon.

Next time I visit the town, I'll likely try another restaurant. There wasn't anything wrong here, but I just like to try new things and nothing stood out for me here as a reason that I must return. I'm confident that all but the most difficult of customers will find a positive...

Was a very nice and cozy dining area. We were the only ones inside, everyone else was on the patio. It was a beautiful day but a little too hot for me to eat outdoors. We went for lunch because we figured it wouldn't be as busy. Our server was very polite and attentive. She welcomed us with a large bottle of water and returned a bit later to take our order. We ordered the J.R.R Tolkien burger with sweet potato fries and the Da Vinci burger with onion rings. The burgers were ok. Both patties could use more seasoning. The pineapple slice on the J.R.R. burger was a delicious topping. The Da Vinci burger was different. Olives and pepperoni...a strange combination on a burger, but I was intrigued. It also had a small squirt of balsamic on it. It needed more balsamic. The buns were not fresh. The sides were good. Overall it was a good meal. I also like that there are dozens of games available to take to your table to enjoy at your leisure, as well as plenty of books...

I was excited about coming to the Library Bar since closing e.d.I.t trying some fancy cocktails and yummy snacks but was disappointed. The cocktails that we ordered including the mocktail that was ordered all had the same garnish (maraschino cherry and an orange slice) which seemed very odd for an amaro sour and a paper plane. Margarita was ok, which I still had some left and server tried to take it away when I ordered another cocktail to try lol. The charcuterie board was good. Our tacos lacked season and flavour and were on these weird dense soft shells. Had the loaded fries weren’t overly impressed with those either. Disappointed on the food. Server gave us our bill and just stood there waiting for us to pay on the spot so felt a bit rushed. Also she would sing loud along with the music was playing. Just a weird experience. Honestly wouldn’t go...

The food was impeccable. Split a three course meal with my partner. Soup of the day was a delicious creamy pea soup. Main was the wild mushroom gnocchi. They ran out of gnocchi but swapped it with home made pasta which was delicious. The dessert was a nice seasonal quince bread pudding that was light and flavourful. Looking forward to dropping by again on my next visit to Paris!
