If I could give this place zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. Came here after the Trews show at Paris drinks to end the amazing night we were having off only to learn that if they don't know you, they will ignore you until you approach them. They will serve people they know drinks and ignore you, even avoid any sort of verbal communication or eye contact to acknowledge your existence. When you do approach them, they tell you they aren't serving, even after they served the drunkest guy in the restaurant a beer right in front of us. I would never hire those two staff members working the Friday night of Paris Drinks at Paris Pub. They lack any customer service or basic human communication skills.
We will be having a few events in Paris coming up, and we will make sure all of our guests do not visit this establishment. I also highly recommend if you are having any event in Paris, your guests avoid the disappointment of going to this pub. I HIGHLY recommend you check out Paris Beer Company as the food, drink, ambiance, and staff are all INCREDIBLE. You will not be disappointed at Paris Beer Company!
TO OWNERS RESPONSE:
In fact, it is all true - the only "scene" we made was asking why you guys chose to ignore us for over 20 minutes. We were there before ALL of those people you served before us, and you avoided us at all costs, even when you stood around doing nothing. A very intoxicated man WAS served a beer right in front of us. The very least one of your terrible waitresses could have done was said hello - it's not that hard to be a kind human being and notify us of what services you were offering. Sure, we missed your sign on the way in, we were caught up in conversation with people outside. We would have loved to buy a poutine. We aren't disappointed at not getting a drink. We are disappointed in the lack of service, the very unprofessional staff members and more importantly the very hostile response from you. I wish your small business the best, but do remember that customer service is very important in...
Read moreVisited from GTA... order got screwed up, waitress didn't really care to offer a correction, only kept saying that she didn't hear or catch the full dish name, so she assumed that what she brought to me was what I ordered... some items we ordered were just ok, others were mediocre. The item description in their menu sounds so much more appealing than the actual dish - not a lot flavor, burger patties are super thin and had no seasoning of any kind, Ruben sandwiches were greasy and, again, with that rich corned beef flavor, pickles on Caesars are much tastier than a quarter of a pickle that's being served with Ruben (if you're trying to serve a kosher pickle, than find a good brand)... the best on the list is their chicken wings...maybe it's considered a popular local eatery, but unfortunately I can't give it more than 3 stars... and won't really recommend it...
Read moreAnyone who has read a few of my reviews knows I love good fish and chips. I don't think I've been into a pub that doesn't have fish and chips on the menu. l live in Paris. Sadly, we often don't review our regular haunts. I've been into the Paris Pub several times in the last couple of years. I went back for the Friday Special. I've had their fish and chips before. They are worth a return trip, or many. The fries were nice and crisp the the batter on the Haddock was light, crisp, and stayed that way to the last bite. The coleslaw was very nice. The Paris Pub is very much a local hangout. A couple of the regulars were giving me the gears. You're not a local, are ya? As I was taking pictures. Drop by⁷ for a pint, if you're "lucky." The regulars will treat you...
