I struggle to think of a time I have had a better buying experience. I had walked past Flow Furniture Boutique at the end of November and noticed a chair in their window that I was interested in purchasing for my home. I placed a call to Flow Furniture and the owner Joanne took my call and explained the details about the chair I was interested in. I liked what I heard and agreed to come see the item in person later that evening. Due to traffic I arrived about 20 minutes before Flow closed but Joanne welcomed me in and spent a great deal of time explaining the details of piece to me. She was very knowledgeable about putting together a room and being that this is my first home, I confided that I'm rather overwhelmed by this process of decorating. She spent over an hour with me showing me different pieces and explaining the different options I had based on my room. In the end not only did I buy the chair but I also purchased a very nice reclaimed wood coffee table to compliment my room. There was no sales pressure at all! Joanne is very open and honest about all the furniture in the shop and made me feel very comfortable and confident in my purchases. She answered all my questions even though her store was closed I never felt rushed. It was like having a conversation with an old friend. We’re extremely happy with our experience at Flow furniture! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The owners are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping us find the right pieces for our home. They answered all of our questions, offered great suggestions based on our style and space, and never made us feel rushed or pressured.

We ended up purchasing swivel chairs, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality. They are not only beautiful and well-crafted, but also very comfortable. You can tell they take pride in offering top-quality Canadian made pieces at reasonable prices, which we truly appreciated.

The delivery process was just as smooth. Everything arrived on the scheduled date, right on time. The delivery team was professional, friendly, and very careful when bringing the furniture into our home. They even took the time to position everything exactly where we wanted it and made sure nothing was damaged or out of place.

Buying at Flow for the first time was a great experience. Owner Joanne read my uncertainty about what style of living and dining room furniture I wanted and needed, and recommended a wonderful interior decorator, Christine Garant, to help narrow down the choices.

Meeting with both of these professionals was relaxed and enjoyable. They focused on my space and likes, offered several, but not an overwhelming number of options, and put forward ideas and their own experiences (both positive and negative) to consider when making decisions.

Joanne is very attentive to detail and knows her supplier’s products inside and out. There is a big focus on quality and making well-informed choices.

The arrival of the products was timely or early, as was the delivery and installation by owner Terry and his associate, Ryan. They were both extremely respectful of protecting existing furniture, walls, floors and doors, and disposed of all packaging.

Christine is terrific at sizing furniture to the space and selecting colours and fabrics that are fresh but classic and durable.

The products themselves are solidly built and Canadian-made: beautiful and perfect.
