Best street food in Windsor!!!有小时候的鸡蛋汉堡😭煎饼果子里还有薄脆,还有温莎日料店也不太卖的御好烧,强推😭
I found this place on Google Maps, and they went the extra mile to come and try it out. It took us half an hour to get there, but it was totally worth it. The Chinese burger here is incredibly delicious and reminds me of the ones I used to have near the school gates back in my childhood days in China. They even use the same griddle for cooking the burgers, just like in China. I never thought I would find that nostalgic taste here in Canada, and it truly touched my heart.
The Korean sandwich is also fantastic, with a generous portion size. I highly recommend trying their authentic Osaka-style Okonomiyaki; it tasted exactly like the ones I had in Japan. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this place.
The owner of the store is very kind and friendly. They shared many stories with us, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I sincerely hope they continue to enjoy a happy life and prosperous business. What I want to say is that every dish they serve aligns perfectly with my taste buds. I will be recommending this place to all my friends, as you deserve more customers. As long as I'm living in Windsor, I will definitely come back here...
Read moreThis place is excellent in service, friendly, and has great food. I missed Asian street food since I live in Windsor and there's no such thing. Till now! I don't know when this business opened up but I wish I found out earlier. The Won Ton soup is delicious 😋. The pan-fried dumplings are tasty. The toast with egg in middle is so good to eat. But the best selection from here IMO is the Chinese streetfood that I missed alot... the Chinese Crepe. It's so tasty and light, doesnt bloat your stomach! It's basically a savory crepe, made spicy or non spicy. You get veggies like cabbage and lettuce and deli sandwich meat like ham and turkey. The outside is made with a spread of sesame paste (my fave). The crunchy toasted fried pita adds an amazing crunch to this crepe. It's placed on top of all the fillings. My husband loves this place too and the Chinese Crepe. He had their ice cream and liked it as well. Reasonably priced and local as well. It's inside City Market building on Walker Road (close to Ottawa Street). Give it a try! Five stars rated and I'm...
Read moreHidden gem in the City Market under 2 miles from the Devonshire Mall. The guy is so nice and puts a ton of care into his food. We tried the Japanese pancake (I’ve had this before, but he uses bacon in his which is, well, you know, BACON!) and the Chinese crepe (vegetarian, because again, we had bacon). We had some doubts about the use of American cheese in the crepe, but it really works! The crepe itself is more savory than what you might be used to because of the seasoned egg, and there is a mix of textures with the fried wonton wrapper and cabbage. For dessert we had peanut butter chocolate ice cream and a Syrian crepe. He basically puts a whole banana in, and the combination with tahini and sesame is really yummy without being overly sweet (but he customizes for each person and can make it more or less sweet). Great food,...
