My husband I were from out of town. We wanted a bite to eat before heading home. We were the 3rd customers in line. By the time we were able to order the place had filled with customers right to the door. I placed my order, which was a sub on gluten free bread. The man asked me allergy or preference. I told him it was an allergy. As soon as I said allergy he said "oh no I can't do that right now, you will need to wait and go back to the end of the line". My husband said forget it then we will just leave if that's the way you are here. I just said to him we already waited in line. He proceeded to say well we need to wipe everything down. I asked well how is it my fault that I have an allergy and stated we were there before everyone else behind us and now we were supposed to get in line again. At that point he said ok ok I'll make it, his female co worker looked at me and said in a kind voice "He will make, we will make it for you". My husband and I were definitely not going to stay after all of that, so we just walked out. We went to the other subway in town and were treated very well by a nice young man. He washed everything down without complaint and proceeded to take make my gluten free sub. If you want good service go to Subway at 315 Saskatchewan Ave. and stay far away from this Subway! Not a good experience. Made me very hesitant to even go walk into the other Subway, in case we would have the same treatment there....
Read moreWent to subway to grab some quick supper with my bf. He told employee #1 three times that his cold cut was not to be toasted, but he would like bacon. Employee #1 left uncooked bacon on sandwich, when employee #2 asked if it was toasted, #1 responded yes. We told him no, not toasted again. Then he tried to proceed to make the sandwich without microwaving the bacon. Once that was sorted he started to make my salad, he didn’t change his bacon gloves which was pretty gross but I didn’t say anything. Once he was done I noticed that despite the container being less than half full, he put a lid on it anyway. I asked employee #2 if I could have a full container and she gave it back to #1. His response was to sprinkle a little bit of spinach on top. The container was still not full but at that point I was done. We left and I had to put my own stuff on in order to fill the container which was now half full. Employee #1 also had very blood shot eyes and used a lot of profanity. Boyfriend wanted to cancel the order, but we were hungry and needed to get back on the road. Not going to this...
Read moreI have been coming to this subway for 14 years. There have been ups and down but in the last 4 years it is the best. I have been there so many times that I have gotten to know each of the girls and guys that work there. One day I was in there and a couple from Brandon said that this subway is the only one they go to. They travel back-and-forth To Winnipeg for Appointments. They made a point of telling me how good the customer services and how polite the workers are. I also work in the service industry, and for what these girls and guys have to put up with some days with customers, nobody should have to, oh and still have a smile on...
