Best Health Food Store in the city! If you're looking for your all-in-one store for everything organic, all natural, produce, local items, collagen, meat, dairy, protein powders, mushroom supplements and all the supplements you'll need (amd so much more!), then I can't recommend enough that you go to Dad's Organic Market in Saskatoon.

And the one thing that they do well that other stores can't beat is their amazing customer service. Not only are they attentive and courteous, they know their products well.

They have the best supplement and body care staff, providing excellent consultation and advice and will refer you to the supplement you most likely need. It's like getting a free nutritional consultation when you talk to them. And did I mention the huge selection of supplements that they offer? From mushroom powders to protein powders to collagen powders, they have it all and, like I told you, they know what they're offering or selling so you're confident that they'll point you to the right item.

And while their supplement section is top notch, their Produce Department is equally superb with the amount of local and certified organic fruits and veggies they have to offer. Was in there today for info on "oil of oregano ". Saw alot of staff chatting amongst themselves, nobody approached me for at least 10minutes. I had time to pickup & read every oil of oregano product they had. Finally a stared at the 3 staff standing 3ft ftom me & 1 acknowledged me. I was asking questions & she didn't seem to know anything. At one point she said "I can go look it up"...I said what ? On Google? I did that already. At one point she said I could buy the product & take it to my pharmacist. If it wasn't opened, I could return it for a full refund. I said why would I buy it 1st ? I'll just ask my pharmacist. I use to shop at Moms on 22nd & they were very knowledgeable. Should they really be selling herbs & health foods without any knowledge of what they're selling ? I had a 2nd staff member pipe in and tried to sell me a another product, some kind of acid. I noticed the manuka honey I purchased at Costco for $48 for sale at Dad's for $124. Very...

Everything is organic (obviously) some things are just plain expensive.

But quality hasn't failed thus far. Food is good, bread is good, really It's what you can expect, completely organic, healthy (depending on the food really) and you'd likely do your shopping there (at least part of it) If you had the money.

Though doesn't have all the items I'm looking for. (halal meat, chocolate chip cookies, not sure about the cookies though, didn't really look)

But like I said, most of my weekly/biweekly/monthly shopping I would get it from there If I could afford it. Sadly I can't :( but maybe with future changes to the economy organic will become more affordable, since really, It shouldn't be that hard to make!!! all you gotta do is, NOT ADD NON-ORGANIC INGREDIENTS simple really.
