St. Albert Farmers' Market — Local services in St. Albert

Every Saturday, downtown St. Albert gets transformed into the largest outdoor farmers market in Canada! Hundreds of vendors, fresh produce, food, live music... A clean, well organized event with something for absolutely everyone.

Some advice if you are new to the market:

It can be busy, and as you would expect, it can be difficult to find parking. I recommend the free shuttle bus service from the St. Albert Mall bus terminal. It runs every 20 minutes. There is a sign in front of the bus stop. Nice clean bus with a friendly driver.

Everyone loves dogs, but no one likes dogs in their food. The market is considered a food service location by AHS. Dogs are not allowed at the market. If you forget and bring your buddy, the market attendees will kindly remind you.

Most of the vendors accept debit/tap, but there are ATMs on site.

Lots of stuff for kids. Bouncey castles, face painting, crafts, etc.

Best market I’ve ever been to, but I think the secret has been out for quite a few years now super super busy. no matter what time you go I find way better stuff there and way better prices. Some things are higher than if you were to go to the grocery store but at this point in time where the grocery stores are reaping in money and hiking cost, there’s barely a difference. I would rather support local and give them two dollars more on my order then give it to Sobeys, superstore, Walmart, Safeway, FreshCo, and the rest, for example blueberries can be anywhere from five dollars to $11 in a grocery store You can pay anywhere from 5 to 8 dollars in a market so why would you give it to the big boys when you can just give it to the little guys that drove it here and it’s fresh and taste 100...

Been to the market a few times this summer and was surprised with how well it has worked with the new location. The line ups have moved very fast and being able to split up to go to different sections has made it work better I believe. While I do miss the Downtown location this one has worked really well. I do find it easy to get thru and been in and out in no time. I think the arrows on the ground need to be painted again or signage as some people just do not pay attention to the direction they walk in. There appears to be lots of great vendors (many of he same and some new). For anyone who has not attended yet this year need to get there soon as the last one (I believe it is Oct. 10th) comes fast. Great work St. Albert...
