Unfortunately we went to have some parantas today but we’re so disappointed with firstly the service! They are the laziest group of servers I’ve ever had to deal with! We had to wave down the server at least 6-7 times in a restaurant as small as this doesn’t make any sense! They are too busy chatting behind the counter and even after making eye contact with us as we waived at her she never came :( The paranta plate is way overpriced for something that is not even a paranta..it’s a kulcha…they don’t even serve paranta! It’s $15 for 1 mixed “paranta” 1/2 ladle of raita and it oddly comes with channe or daal makhni! Hahahahah if you consider this daal makhni you should come to my house and try the real stuff! It was a tomato and cream soup with the a few little grains of daal and tasted literally like nothing..no tarka no spice no seasoning!!! The Chana bhatura comes with 1/3 of the amount of channe you would need to actually eat the 2 bhaturas you get. We were told after we were done eating and we addressed this issue that the channe were unlimited and we could ask for more..but that’s not stated anywhere on the menu! We ordered masala chai and it literally came out in less than 2 minutes..just barely warm and definitely not fresh at all! When I asked the server if it was old tea she agreed and then said let me check if it’s fresh or not??? What the hell?? So I ended up telling the owner who walked in at that moment and suddenly the staff became very active after seeing him! Ustaad g was pleasant and brought us more food which we did not ask for or have space to eat! He said he fixed the daal but he just added a lot of butter I top! And brought out a Naan not paranta stuffed with potatoes!! He did finally also bring us some fresh tea with pistachios-maybe the best thing he has to offer! USTAAD G please take your daal and parantas off of your menu and retrain your staff to check in on their customers rather than smile at them from afar! Won’t ever be going to any location ever again! The least he could have done after we waisted 2 hours in the restaurant is made at least 1 meal complimentary! Kanjoos...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed and alarmed by my recent experience at your restaurant on December 21, 2024. I ordered the Keema Kulcha from your menu at G76 , and shortly after consuming the meal, I began to feel severely ill. I experienced extreme nausea, vomiting, intense stomach pain, and dizziness, which escalated quickly. After seeking medical attention, it was determined that the food I consumed had been mixed with something else, leading to food poisoning.
What further shocked and frustrated me was the response I received from your restaurant after I reported the incident. Rather than addressing the seriousness of the situation or offering a sincere apology, I was offered a mere $5 discount as compensation. This response felt dismissive and completely inadequate, considering the severity of the situation. It also gave me the impression that your restaurant does not take food safety and customer health seriously.
This experience has caused me significant physical distress, emotional anxiety, and unexpected medical expenses. I sincerely hope your restaurant takes immediate action to improve food safety protocols and better respond to customer concerns. The lack of concern I encountered has made me reconsider returning to your...

Surrey is a city that is 2-3 hr drive north from Seattle When we crossed the border - We looked up Indian restaurants in the area and then decided to have early dinner at Ustaad G 76 - South Surrey location Very nice Desi restaurant with lovely ambience has left the best impressions! Hospitable host - thank you dear Jaislen for the recommendations - delicious dishes ! We loved the food so much that my son said that we should take few to-go menu items for the next couple days while we still are at Seattle. And we did order a bunch of Togo stuff - the 3 Hour drive just for dinner was well worth it, but we want to see other things in Seattle and the surrounding areas hence the to-go!!! I recommend this place to everyone that likes Desi / Indian north India cuisine 😊 I would like to come back here again and again, if I was local - so please do yourself a favor and visit...
