I am writing this review to highlight the open discrimination done by Dr. Pradip Gujare by cherry picking patients from his own religion/background. Our family friends visited the doctor's office asking whether they are accepting new patients to which the receptionist said 'no' but they can interview you to decide. After interview, they were accepted as they happened to be from the doctor's own religion/background. They told us and we visited doctor's office to try our luck. Upon entering the office, we asked the reception whether the doctor is accepting new patients and she promptly said 'Yes, please provide your health cards'. She asked who referred us and we shared the names. She thought we were from the same religion as our attire was insufficient to distinguish. Upon taking the card and reading our names, she hesitated but still took the card to doctor's office. In 2 minutes, she came back and said sorry, the doctor is full and not accepting new patients. Please try again in 2 months. I am amazed to see this open discrimination by a doctor the first time in Canada. How can a doctor interview patients and look at their names/backgrounds to decide whether to accept them? This is an open violation of CPSO. I will be raising my voice on as many platforms as possible to...
Read moreSo my uncle who is already a patient of Dr. Gujare called at their reception for me and asked if they are accepting the new patients, the receptionist agreed and told him to send me to their clinic as I was already a patient of Dr. Pradip at his other location. I took the day off from the job and went to his clinic, waited for half an hour just to listen that he is not accepting new patients. Even I told them that I was referred by their current patients and I have a blood relation with them, the receptionist said the Dr. Pradip refused to take me. Few weeks ago when I met Dr. Gujare at his clinic for my aunt’s check up, he told me to come anytime to make him family doctor after getting my health card. I don’t know if their receptionists are not well trained or they have communication barrier with the doctor or the doctor has mood swings by which he accepts/refuse the new patients, they don’t understand that they are wasting a person’s...
Read moreI am work permit holder and i have health card too. My friend recommended this doctor and i was in emergency situation as my arm was swelled because of heavy work and i need to visit doctor for prescription so that i can go for diagnose. I call the office to ask whether i can come or no. The lady said yes. I travelled for 1 hour to go there. When i reached, she took my health card and later on told me, we are not accepting new patient. I got confused by your name, I thought you were already a patient. It is her mistake not mine. It is her responsibility to ask me on phone, you are coming first time or old patient. Worst experience i have ever had. Although she told me to fill application and told ne that my turn will be after 2 month. It is already friday and i took leave from job too. Worst experience i had ever had. Never ever...
